This shelf and guitar hanger is better made than expected. Took about 5 minutes to assemble and the mounting hole stencil made getting it up on the wall a breeze. (Pro tip- if you don't have a stencil, make one by putting the back of the item in your scanner and printing it out)It looks nice on the wall, holds my acoustic guitar securely, and I'm probably put a tiny potted plant on the shelf.

Gift for my Grandson! Functionality was perfect for helping to keep him organized. He has a small bedroom. Great value for the money. Stability and assembled completely out of wood and easy to install.

This did require some assembly which was easy enough and it was simple to hang. It is solid wood as advertised and seems sturdy. It also looks nice in the spare room - now guitar practice room. Pleased with the item!

This is a really good-looking way to hang your guitar - but only the neck is narrow enough. My classical guitar was too wide which meant drilling a new hole to widen the gap between the guitar supports. If one or both of the original holes had been horizontal slots, it would have allowed some adjustment of the supports to fit wider guitar necks.

I've usually bought more expensive wall hangers in the past but figured I'd give this one a try and just use it for my kid's ukulele if I didn't like it. But it's actually perfect for my dreadnought acoustic. It would probably be fine for a heavier electric too, although the only thing that gives me pause is the fact that the mounting apparatus is centered while the actual guitar holster is to one side, which means there's more torque on the mount than if the holster were centered. The unit itself is quite robust though, so as long as you mount it correctly into a stud and/or use the drywall anchors that they include, it should hold up just fine.Note that in the photo that's a pocket size Real Book, not the full-size version in case you were surprised that it fits on the shelf!All in all, I'm very happy with this wall mount and will probably buy a couple more since I have a few acoustics laying around the house.
