A bit finicky, but you don't have to take a separate bowl on and off and on and off and on and off....

I don't particularly like this mostly cause Its been giving me inaccurate readings so I've pretty much stopped using it altogether and have purchased a different scale that works much better and accurately.

I found this scale to be highly accurate, to within 2/100th of an ounce, excellent for home use for foods, spices, etc. I had to pay close attention to make sure I was reading the weights either in ounces or grams or kilograms. Sometimes I found it confusing in switching to the unit of measurement. The LCD display holds the reading for five or six seconds after you remove what you weighed—this makes it easy to catch the number. The description says that it calculates the net weight of your ingredients by automatically subtracting the weight of any bowl or container. I could use directions how to use that “tare” feature.The scale looks very nice although I’d choose a color other than black as that shows fingerprints and smudges too much. Several other features recommend this unit: auto shut-off, easy battery install, non-slip. I can also use this scale to weigh my letters or small packages (up to 11 pounds) to estimate postage required.Overall, smart design and built. Recommended.
