I was hoping for some more variety. The pic for the product is a bit misleading. Not something that I would buy again.

Nice marble set for my son

Very pretty sets! I placed 3 orders for the set of 40 marbles (4 shooters and 36 players). These are for my Cub Scout den to keep once we learn how to play the different marble games. Each bag comes with a set of instructions stuck onto the bag (so either keep the bag, take a picture, or write them down). For the most part, there seem to be a set of 9 matching player marbles. The shooters, however, will not necessarily match up. I think you’re just lucky if they do. I like these sets so much I’m tempted to buy more just to keep for myself!

Update: After contacting the seller, I was immediately credited and purchased a new set. I was very happy with how well the seller stood behind the product! I have changed my rating from 4 to a 5 star.The marbles are very pretty colors, but because they are not packed securely for shipping one of the shooters has a large chip out of it. What made me least happy, though, is that three of the four shooters are identical in color so three of the four players would have a hard time knowing which shooter was theirs.

We got this set to use on our marble roller coaster that my son got for his birthday. It had come with lame plastic marbles so we wanted real marbles. The set came with 4 large marbles. The rest were normal sized with the exception of one rather small green one which did not work on the track. There were two marbles that were damaged and would not run the track either.As far as the mix went, there were ten light blue with yellow and red veins plus several more opaque marbles. The clear with colored veins were few but nice to have. Overall, it’s an ok mix but didn’t have the variety of my 1980’s childhood collection.
