Highly recommend!
This exact product was used by our pest control company last year and got rid of our ant problem. They told us we could buy it online and use it ourselves. This year the ants came back, used this product and two days later ant problem is gone. I highly recommend this product.

I'm at peace with my ants but this works when they cross my boundaries
This was recommended to me by a guy I bought earth worms from for keeping ants out of vermicompost bins. Where I live, we have ants that are black and non‐aggressive, Pyramid ants to be exact, and I dont mind them because they apparently will attack and keep fire ants at bay. They havent bothered my cat's food when I set it outside, they dont immediatley find human food like fire ants do, and they dont take every chance to bite you like fire ants do (even if you kick their mound). However, they do sometimes push my buttons and violate boundaries, and as long as its not too warm, this gel makes quick work of the troublemakers. I have used it to get ants off my fig tree when they were getting to every fruit before I could, to get them out of my cat's treat puzzle (they never at catfood left outside but got inside to eat treats out of the puzzle feeder, go figure), and to swiftly deal with a random kitchen infestation. In the case of the kitchen, I noticed an ant on the counter one day and then a few hours later there were many more, crawling around my dishwasher and counters. I put a couple old bottle caps on the ground and dabbed the gel in it. Ants found it pretty quickly and invited the rest of their gang to partake. The next morning there were still some very sluggish ants crowding around the gel in the caps, but they disappeared by that afternoon. So glad I had this stuff on hand.As others have said though, this stuff does get melty when its above 80 or so which would make it hard to use in the summer in more humid areas. Fortunately I live in an arid climate, so for the areas outside where I wanted to use it in the summer, I set out bottle caps that I will fill in the evening so the ants could have a midnight gel feast without it all turning to soup. It wasnt as effective outdoors in the heat of summer as it was in the kitchen this fall, and I had to refill the caps for days and even then the colonies were only reduced but not gone. As such, I recommend timing this for fall or spring use if you plan to use it outdoors. I also recommend researching what species of ant you are targetting, to make sure that by clearing them out you wont be making room for a more aggressive species to move in.

Top Ant Bait Pros Use
I've got a carpenter ant issue at my home in Connecticut. The Terro liquid ant bait that works great on small black house ants is ineffective with carpenter ants. I did hire a professional exterminator but carpenter ants are persistent and it can take multiple treatments to eliminate the colony. Since these gel baits can dry out within 2 weeks or get eaten up I'm supplementing what the pro is doing in between his quarterly visits. This is one of two carpenter ant bait gels he uses. (The other is Maxforce Fleet ant bait) I apply it as he did, small drops placed a couple of inches apart on their trails and in crevices around floor molding and window corners. Smaller drops give more ants an opportunity to feed and the bait takes longer to dry out. Once they feed on the bait you want to leave them alone so they'll take it back to their nest eventually. It doesn't kill them right away, after a day or so they'll start acting goofy or "twerping" like a street drug addict. A little goes a long way, so far I've only used one tube of the four that game with the order. After each use I carefully rinse out the injection tip so the bait doesn't dry up and clog the tip. I also put the original cover back on each tube after each use. Time and patience are your friend in this game, you want them to take it home to momma so resist the temptation to squish them. The pro also sprayed the house exterior foundation with Termidor SC and Tempo SC Ultra (spaced some months apart). To get rid of carpenter ants you need multiple products, to treat the interior and exterior, a persistence effort and patience.

Like drugs for ants
Put this stuff down near where ants are and the ants just come running for it. Usually it only takes a couple days and then the quantity of ants starts to decline. Depending upon size of the nest though, it can take a week or so before the ants start to totally vanish.Because this is a liquid based gel, it will start to dry up. Easy enough to fix though by just reapplying every day or every other day. Other solution would be to put it in a little ant trap that holds the moisture in. That works really well when placing it on the ground as it can stay moist for a while. Otherwise if you let the gel dry up, the ants do lose interest in it. But as long as you can keep it moist and there are ants nearby, then this will bring them in like a crazy experience draws in a Florida man.
