Was Scared it would break within a month like most reviews said it would.
As i wrote above i was worried it would breakdown in less than a year, iv had it for around 3 months now and its been nothing but perfect till now!

Works on my MK7 2016 VW Golf
I took a leap of faith, since this part is made for MK6 and I have a MK7. The MK7 is $300+, so I figured it's worth trying. Works perfectly. I needed to replace it, since it wouldn't latch anymore and showed "Trunk Open" all the time. So happy this worked out. Dealer wanted $800 to do the replace!I bought a $11 torx set from Home Depot. All you need is t20 and t40 to do the install. I couldn't find an M8 at Home Depot, but the t40 fits fine. Super easy install. Tearing off the panel is the toughest part, and pushing it back in. I didn't take the panel off, to make it easier. I just pulled it down enough to do the replace.

G'day, I received my latch today and I have to say the build quality appears to be superb and it was a perfect fit and noproblems with it working seamlessly on my 2011 Golf GTD MKVI. Thank you....

Works great so far
Easy install on my wife’s 2012 vw golf. Juat make sure you have a triple square bit for the vw bolts. Hasn’t failed so far no complaints here.

Fit perfectly in my ibiza reference 2012. Easy to install but you need a specific tools to do it
