Bic Metal Razors -- 5 ct.

I have been a user of twin blade disposable razors made by the G company since forever. For personal reasons I decided to try a different brand. Because I am incredibly cheap it took me a while to run through my existing supply so today was the first day I used the Bic. I shave once every couple of days so take that into account. First, the razor did not clog up with long whiskers and deform the settings of the blade like happened with the twin blade. Next, what did collect on the blade was quickly washed away. Next, the shave was done quicker. With the twin blade I would have to shave one direction, clean the blades, then shave the other direction. Not with this Bic. One pass and I was done with that area. Finally, the only thing that was not perfect for me. The pressure and cutting angle is different and the blade is so sharp that I actually cut myself in one or two spots. I think this was more of me being used to needing a higher pressure on the razor to get the job done. Overall, given the cost and the quality of the shave, 5 stars.

This razor will give you the absolute closest, cleanest, smoothest shave IF you know how to utilize it. The single blade is VERY sharp! So, like a straight razor, just the right light touch is required. Those who comment that this razor cut them and made their face a bloody mess didn’t use the right technique. Don’t blame the razor gentlemen. Blame the shaver. Apply the right amount of pressure, angle the blade correctly, swipe and this razor will do the job. No goop and it doesn’t clog like multiple blades do. Rinse after each swipe/stroke with COLD water. Cold water will help ensure there’s no razor burn. Believe it!

I finally found my favorite razors again! Been a long time since I've seen these anywhere locally. I've been stuck using those ever-cloging multi blade disposable things, in various brands. I hate them all!Bic " Metal" are the best! I love using single blade razors mainly because they don't clog up so dang fast. Also, they don't feel like they're gonna take 3 layers of skin off, or give razor burn like most all multi blade razors do to me.They may not stay sharp as long as some but well worth the price.Will buy again.

If we shave in heaven, this is what we will use. These are the very best razors for my face. They are impossible to find in any retail store in my area. They have a single blade, with a good distance between the blade and the safety guard so shaved whiskers and soap are easily rinsed out. This single blade is like the light saber of shaving - I can literally shave the inside of my nose without a nick, it is so precise. I get fewer in-grown hairs with these razors. Expect one razor to last about a week, give or take. If you have some kind of steel wool beard and actually need 7 blades or some foolishness, just run this single blade over your beard several times for a more precise, tailored shave than those ridiculous multi-blade models could ever provide. I would give 5 stars except the razors I received were in Greek or Russian packaging. I think they are pretty much the same as the good 'ole American version I've been using for 20+ years, but not totally sure.

it says 5 5 packs, i got 2 12 packs and loose razor. its 25 i guess

As a longtime wet shaver who predominantly uses replaces DE blades, I was hoping the Bic Disposable would help me when I want to take a bag on a plane and not worry about having to deal with security on loose blades. I've used the Bic Chrome Platinum DEs and like them a lot, but wasn't completely crazy about the shaves with the Disposable. They're "aggressive" in terms of generating weepers (little blood spots) but not any more efficient than my normal DE blades, and they simply don't measure up to the Chromes. Too bad - I'll try another disposable, but my suspicion is most of them aren't great if you're spoiled by the ample, inexpensive, and often amazing DE blades available in the market today. Pass.
