A very high quality rice cooker
A very high quality rice cooker indeed, and much superior than another rice cooker I had that costed almost $300. I have cooked different kind of rices, all cooked supper good! This rice cooker is also good looking, stylish, with excellent outer finish and uses quality parts. It has a wide array of functions I can choose from, and they are all intuitive and easy to use. I have to say, this is a good buy!

Love it!
I rarely write reviews but this Rice Cooker really makes perfect rice. The outward appearance looks pretty nice. The inner tub made with heavy iron material along with non-stick layer. It is easy to clean. I like the touch flat keys which let you easy to clean this area. It has been working perfectly for us so far and It is exact what I looked for.

Not good as my expectation
It is a ok product. Very easy to clean, however the cooked rice was not very soft and delicious as my old cooker. Too many buttons. Cannot set up start time. Too expensive for this price.

Their "cup" is only 4 oz. "8 cups uncooked rice" means 4 cups uncooked rice in USA speak.
I have only used it a few times. I only cook brown rice and the reviewer advice to use 1 more cup of water than cups of rice seems to be in the right direction (5 cups water to 4 cups rice, for instance). I bought a high-temperature silicone coated rice paddle to help reduce wear on the non-stick surface. In spite of the calculated automation, I find that to get my brown rice to be 'perfect' for my taste, I will have to play with times, water-rice ratios and other settings. Someday, I will bake a cake. Imagine a cake that looks like a big gumdrop. :)

A nice rice cooker on par with the Japanese famous brands
As can be seen from the photos taken when we just received the package from amazon, the rice cooker looks modern and very appealing. We have been using the product daily for cooking rice for about two weeks now. The rice made from the cooker is as good as our Tiger-brand rice cooker. The cooking time is about the same as the Tiger-brand rice cooker. We have not tried other functionalities yet. No complaint what so ever.

I still recommend Japanese brands or Korean brands
The cooking time is very slow. Cleaning is still very good and will not stick to the pan, but it will burn a lot of rice

Just Got the item, but having issues
Got this rice cooker yesterday. When we tried to open the product box, we noticed that this item had been opened before (two photos attached). Not sure whether it was a returned item or not. Also we noticed a tiny chip at the bottom of the outside of the inner pot (two photos attached).

#obsessed. Makes amazing rice, steams to perfection and learning to make soup. So versatile and easy.
