While the episodes are all charming, as one would expect (The Kite is funniest of the group), they were recorded in widescreen (16 x 9) and this disc is in "full screen" (4 x 3). The cropping of the image is not only obvious, but also rather crude and annoying (no apparent attempt at "pan and scan"), enough to deduct at least 1-1/2 stars. All of the other compilation DVDs I have of Shaun the Sheep are in widescreen format, so I was quite disappointed (haven't found a widescreen version of this in Region 1 yet).
