I was looking for heat resistant thin material to be used with gas tandoor and cook top with glass surface. The cook top glass breaks due to heat.I tried wooden plank, metal stand but not so good.Finally I tried using this item.Easy to cut with normal scissors and use. See photo.The combo of tandoor, glass top cookware and silicon pad is amazing. Working perfectly.It is around 3mm thickness and the tandoor is well balanced.Ultimately enjoying Dal Bati every Sunday.

Highly recommended. I leave the hot iron right on it, and there is zero problem. Looks well made as well.

Use this only if your iron stand doesn't have the angular slot for the iron. Or else itvs purpose won't be fulfilled. I had to return tbis as my iron had the iron slot.

I use this on my ironing board to prevent the hot iron from burning the board cloth. This product is able to withstand the heat of the iron with the thermostat on cotton, this prevents burning the iron board cloth and causing a fire hazard.

I needed a base for my iron as putting directly on ironing board ruins and burns. This product is an excellent find and doesn't melt when very hit iron is resting. I thoroughly recommend this product 👌
