Warm light
Put these in all our lamps for warm, dim light at night. It’s very comforting & soothing on the eyes. It helps me fall asleep faster.

Good for the cave dwellers
These bulbs are a life-saver for my poor eyes. I am extremely light sensitive-any type of light sensitive. It has been suggested that I may secretly be one of the 'mole people', LOL. I don't know about that, but I am an Autistic/ADHD adult with near translucent skin-so yeah, lighting is important to me.I was pleasantly surprised how much light these bulbs really do give off while not causing me to squint, get a migraine, or just feel 'ick' the way traditional bulbs do. I like these more than my LED soft whites! These bulbs cast lovely pools of amber (think a bright, warm candlelight) light. I will be ordering more on payday and they are currently working beautifully in my bedroom, home office, and living room. I was unsure if they would give off enough light, but they absolutely do.For those Neuro-spicy folks like myself, these bulbs will make a particularly huge difference for you. Finally a light bulb that doesn't make me itch! If you know, you know. They seem like nice bulbs too and every bit as well made my soft white LEDs.I would and absolutely will buy more of these.

Calming light
I love the red light and one bulb emits a nice red light. Does it actually help me sleep, probably not, but it feels calming and soothing.

Color is correct but brightness seems low
These lightbulbs are definitely within the range of 1800k but I don’t think they are actually putting out 800 lumens. I compared them with two flashlights I own, one has a gt fc40 led at 1800k and puts out 1200 lumens and the other has a 519a led at 2700k and puts out 1000 lumens so my test isn’t perfect but gives a good idea. These bulbs match the 1800k flashlight in color pretty closely but even the other flashlight that has only 1000 lumens seems like it’s at least four times brighter than these bulbs. It shouldn’t look that much brighter if there was actually only a 200 lumen difference, that is the actual difference between the two flashlights I tested and the difference of 200 lumens is nearly not detectable. I don’t have a way to test the brightness of these bulbs but from my experience from the flashlight hobby I would have to say these bulbs are only around 300-400 lumens. When I compare to a regular neutral color lightbulb, the lumen ratings seem to make more sense and match flashlights I have that are similar lumen ratings. It would be nice to get a lightbulb that was this color temperature but brighter and had the ability to dim, for this color temperature bulb the ability to dim would be really smart because this is the color temp people want to put next to their bed. I am happy that these are available and I do now have them in two lamps, one at each side of my bed, but my search will continue for a brighter and hopefully dimmable bulb.
