Great Harness, read the instructions!
I'll update this i I run into specific problems, but so far I am incredibly pleased with this harness. I got the large for my 50 lb collie (Haven't tried it on the 65 lb collie) and out of the box it fit with some adjustment, except for the neck. Well, there are instructions on how to fit the neck and now it is awesome. Wonderful construction, in my opinion, I love the steel and the material used on the chest area. I'm very pleased so far, make sure that you follow all of the instructions before bashing a product.

Black lab pup loves it
I have a 6 month old black lab pup and she loves it. Camera video is a little shakey when running but what can you expect. A little big on her to start with but she will quickly grow into it. Love that it has a leash hook that is also behind the camera plate.

Pretty Good Harness
The media could not be loaded. I've read a lot of bad reviews on this harness, but think it's actually pretty nice. I ordered mine from Amazon and I got it within days. The construction of this harness is just like that of any other Kurgo harness - the quality is good. The only real difference is the addition of the metal plates on the front and back for the camera mount.A lot of people complain that it doesn't come with GoPro mounts, but I guess they don't realize that there are other companies that make action cameras out there and someone might want to mount a Contour or a Sony Action Cam etc. The product doesn't specify that it's made for use with GoPro so I'm not sure why people think it'll come with GoPro mounts. Just make sure that whatever camera you use, you have extra mounts for it. I happen to have a GoPro, so I purchased some mounts for that and they worked fine on my harness. For the back mount area, I used a flat GoPro mount. I actually did see a bit of light coming through the middle of the stick-on area, when viewed from the side, so I just grabbed crescent wrench, clamped down hard on it, and it stuck on pretty well. Immediately after doing so I took my dogs out into the snow for some play time with the GoPro mounted on it's back. With my dog running around like a maniac for about 15 minutes, the back mount never came off, so it seems to have stuck on there pretty well. I used a curved GoPro mount for the front mounting point. That was a perfect contour and it stuck on like a charm. I have not affixed or tested the camera on the front mount yet.Regarding the view from the camera, a lot of people say its very shaky. To that I say, "Ya think?" If you mount a camera on a dog over it's shoulders which it uses to walk/run with - of course it's going to be shaky. It's not going to look like a steady-cam shot. If you understand that, then you'll have no problem with this. I've read other reviews that say the front mount is a lot more steady, but I have yet to try that as my wife insists she wants to see Minnie's ears flopping around while she plays. The bottom line here is that if you're looking for cinema-quality steady shots, you're not going to get them - it's a camera attached to a dog. I've attached a low quality video of the snow playtime I mentioned earlier. Of course it looks much better in HD, but this will give you an idea of what you can capture from the back mounting point. All that said, I think this harness is not bad at all. It's not "absolutely amazing" or anything like that, but as long as you understand it's limitations, you shouldn't have any problems with it. Just make sure you get an appropriate size to get it adjusted pretty snugly on your pooch, and enjoy.

Update !! Crr
Seems well made, its a medium size, but don't expect it to fit a dog that is any more than medium. In fact it's more for a smaller size dig.Anyway as this was too small I decided to purchase the gopro harness, and I LOVE ITIt's well made and it does stay in place despite what some people are saying, I put it on my dog and played fetch, which means a lot of running and turning and not once did it slip, the only thing I had to do was tighten the camera clamp which has nothing to do with the harness. And of course there's some camera shake when the dog runs but again that's physics and not the fault of the harness. So long story short, the gopro harness is the one to go with.P.S I purchased the harness through gopro as they were in stock.

The front of the vest sits a little strange & it would be nicer if it had a little curve at the ends like the back plate does
I have no idea why people are bothered about the wobble... Your dog is walking, it will wobble. I had no issues mounting my own camera mounts to this harness. The front of the vest sits a little strange & it would be nicer if it had a little curve at the ends like the back plate does. But I found a sizing chart on another website & ordered it here. It fits nice & snug. & I love that it has a leash loop so I don't have to try to fit him into 2 harnesses to leash him while wearing this as the go pro harness states it is not for walks.

Not made well for active dogs.
Mounting plates are made of steel, too big and heavy for a small dog. Harness does not fit well, not enough adjustment and very hard to put on the dog. Camera hits dog in the chin when using chest mount and wobbles back and forth on the top mount.

Good product. The dog leash steel loop on the back is very handy and makes the unit a dog harness to boot.
The metal plates need to be bigger, by a half inch or so. I couldn't fully mount my Garmin Virb Ultra to it, though it's still just works.

acquisto verificato buon acquisto
