Super easy install, made all the difference in towing
After buying a 6 ton toy hauler, my excursion need help handling the tongue weight. After upgrading to some newer f350 springs, I still had considerable sag. I bought this kit and it installed in under 2 hours. No hiccups but buy the optional tubing cutter because I didn’t and had to buy it later and redo the tubing because it wasn’t sealing and would lose pressure over a day or so.I had bought a 2” lift block that replaced the factory block and kept the factory style bumpstop horn. This is key in fitting this particular kit, which mounts to that horn.Be sure to retighten hardware after a few days or add loctite. Mine loosened up after use.I set it up with the inflation valves and used a portable compressor to fill before adding a viar on board air compressor later. Definitely made a night and day difference in leveling the truck and keeping a bearable ride while towing heavy.

Well worth it.
The kit fit a 2018 f150 fx4 perfectly. It makes the truck ride smoother with 10lbs of air and works great with a load and higher pressure. The truck no longer porpoises with a loaded bed and feels much more safe and controllable. The 2 drawbacks are you if want to do serious off roading you will need to remove the bag as the axle can’t drop all the way down without breaking the bags apart. You also can’t jack up the back of the frame for service or use a 2 post lift unless you strap the axles up so they don’t sag.

Great product!
Great kit unfortunately mine was apparently a returned item the kit was still new but there was sand everywhere and it was missing a couple hardware pieces but it wasn’t enough to return it over, the entire install took about 4 hours. I don’t care what the instruction Manuel says about not having to jack up the truck I raised the rear and in mine about 4 inches and it was a lot easier getting them in. The only other hard part that isn’t in the Manuel is when your removing the rubber stops off the frame both of mine started to spin and I was unbolting them if this happens to you tear off all of the rubber and there are wholes in the bracket jam a screwdriver in them and that will lock it against the frame so you can get them off. I have a 29’2 commodore that lowers the rear and on the excursion I’m sure these will work perfect

Solid as a rock. No more tail squat.
Bought these for my 2005 Ford Excursion. Recently purchased a travel trailer and even with a weight distribution hitch, the rear end was squatting more than I liked. With the Ride-Rites I can add the amount of air to bring the truck back to level. Seems to give a smoother ride, too. Just towed across the Canadian prairies with up to 30 mph winds and had no problem with trailer sway or control. Rock solid performance.

Makes a huge difference!
Easy to install, works great for my 2004 Ford Excursion. Truck rides totally different, so much smoother. We pull an 8000 pound bumper pull camper and it has helped the ride while pulling the camper a lot, wife and kids noticed the ride difference as I noticed the ease on the steering wheel too while pulling the camper. This provides a much smoother ride.
