Good product!
It works great! But u need to purchase this with fans and sticker glue to make it work outbecause the old CPU has been heated and dry-glued to the existing fan. It's hard to seperate them out.I replaced this with the old 1GHz CPU in my Inspiron 531 and it began to be able to watch all of the HD video stream without stopped frames!

WHAT'S HOT - WHAT'S NOT
Having image processing and storage as one of my two hobbies there is a definite need for a quick, strong processor. I chose the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz for my upgraded unit which now runs Windows 7 64-bit and the 125 watt CPU in particular. These are now very difficult to find and are being priced higher because of demand by more than myself. Someone else knows a good thing.A friend thought he would help find me that CPU at one of those online auction/sale places and he did get one and gave it to me but it is NOT the same as the one I purchased from Amazon and received expediently as part of a larger, well packed order. My friend's processor has been installed too and is listed in SYSTEM as: " AMD Processor model unknown, 3000 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)" whereas the "model unknown" is replaced by "Authentic AMD 3013MHz and a full description given for the Amazon supplied unit in an "almost" twin PC. Both work but there is a positive noticeable difference in the authentic version. I found it to be, in my opinion, attributable to the wattage rating. My Amazon purchase was in a new retail box with a fan, stocked and shipped by Amazon and 125watts. AMD does sell other wattages for those on the "Green" scene but wattage seems to make a performance difference in my realm where I do much "rendering" of images and this CPU ranks highly in that respect.I am happy with that CPU but have now purchased an AMD Phenom x4 unit for another "almost" twin PC.

works great.
I was a bit skeptic about buying a used cpu, but it works great and I have no problem playing games with it. no lags, glitches, nothing to hold me back or make me lose the game. for a used product it works great. I now consider it as pre tested other than used.

AMD 6000 Porcessor
Got it faster than expected, product was in great condition, however seller said it was used from his computer he was upgradeing and did not mention that fan and cooler were included and I needlessly perchased a 2nd cpu fan and cooler.

The Processor is GREAT ... the vendor, on the other hand ...
I'll start out by saying that the product itself is all that I expected, and then some. I also bought it for $77.00, and was happily surprised to find a processor this good at this price.I was, however, quite unhappy with the performance of the vendor, Komputerbay.1) The product took over 10 days to arrive.2) I did not expect to receive a boxed processor at this price, but they shipped this 192-PGA device mounted in SOFT foam, in a 3" foil bag, folded and unsealed. The foil bag was shipped in a 10"x14" bubble-wrap lined mailer.3) This ridiculous packaging resulted in the product being delivered with several bent pins. This made installation a challenge, to say the least.4) They didn't even include an Athlon sticker to put on the computer!I'll happily buy AMD products again, but NOT from Komputerbay!
