ZWILLINGJ.A. Henckels 10-Slot Bamboo Storage Block

This block is a perfect size for the home cook who doesn't need lots of knives. It has plenty of slots for the basics necessities and room for steak knives as well. The slanted openings allow the Pro Series to fit very well.

Knife block seems like robust one.Slots for the knifes are of various sizes and work well with different blade sizes.Design wise personally like it, though individual matter. Kitchen scissors fits nicely as well.Durability wise can't tell at this moment as it is still early, though based on the above said would vote for long lasting product. We'll see.Overall I would recommend it.

I bought new good quality knives for my RV and had been searching for a small block that would fit on the limited counter space next to the stove. I read and re read all the reviews on the many knife blocks but most could not hold the length of my new knives. The knives are Henckels Zwilling Gourmet style 8” chefs knife, 8” bread knife and 6” boning knife. The knives fit perfect with plenty of room in the length and the width. The one thing that I noticed after I received this block is that the style of handle on your knife makes a difference on how securely the knives will sit in the block because of the angled top. The style of my Henckels knife handles are square edges and the blade thickness is consistent all the way up to the top that fits into the handle so they do not rock or wobble in this block. However, I have another style of Henckels knives that are the 4 star with the molded round edge handles and the blade metal thickens and changes shape up at the top where they go into the handle not allowing them to sit firmly and safely on this style of knife block. I am pleased with this knife block as it is good quality and the price is fair.

Fits all my other Zwilling tools and other brand knives! Now I have them safely in place and not dangerously in drawers.
