REAL and REAL CHEAP
I buy many things from Amazon and this was a recent purchase! I waited before reviewing to have real information to report. I never received discounts not made available to the public and offer honest reviews as a token of gratitude for Amazon Support following up on every bad experience.Delivery: 2 days from purchase via Amazon Logistics(Sometimes there is a delay from *purchase to when retailer *provides to Amazon)Packaging: Authentic manufacturer box inside of Amazon box but no insulation between, yet undamaged(You would be surprised how integrity varies from purchase to purchase)Product: Genuine Ka-Bar product with manufacturer box taped closed, looked brand new. Item was 99% flawless but Ka-bar has been known to have some dings and nicks here and there. Razor sharp. All metal coated in gray but handle is G10 I believe, very solid construction and no wiggle in the blade at all. Fits nicely in medium hand or large hand but maybe not suited for women hands for EDC. Belt clip is sturdy. No sheath but not advertised with one. To clarify, there were not scratches. There was an imperfection in the G10 handle which is hardly noticible unless you were inspecting for flaws intentionally. Amazing purchase for the price and I am about to get one for my dad if I don't decide on a Buck 110. This is a nice folder, and very nice that it is from Ka-bar. Logo is printed on blade, not engraved which is not great but this seems to be one of few Ka-Bars that you can easily open with one hand despite not having assisted opening. Almost difficult to open at first with lots of pressure safely keeping it closed. Blade points down when using belt clip, don't care either way but I am sure some people like it a certain way. It does not appear to have slots for screws for alternating the side the belt clip is on for lefty or blade up however the thumb knobs on the blade are on both sides!(Amazon sometimes has counterfeit products marketed which is hardly their fault and so we are responsible to our fellow consumers by reporting fake products as we see them)Thank you for reading!

Amazing budget knife!
This may be a budget price but it doesn't it all feel like a budget knife and it came right out of the box sharp enough for me and I'm very particular. Also I like the old school lockback which is very useful and strong but they add a pocket clip which is even better and it's a little lighter than the buck 110 but still heavy enough to use as a blunt force object as self-defense and definitely good enough the right size for self-defense one handed opening. For the price I highly recommend this knife if I hope it doesn't but if enough goes up more than the 35 I paid for it it would still be worth it and this might be one I buy a second if I'm still feeling the same in 2 weeks and if I ever change my mind I'll come back on here and follow up. My knife reviews are on YouTube Jerry Don Quixote this one will be on there before long!

probably worth more $
Nice well made knife for the money. I think it is priced a bit low for the quality you get. $16 usually gets you a blue or red aluminum handled knife that says "ninja death dealer" or something like it on the chrome finished dull blade. I like that this style knife has the pocket clip (why I bought it) and that it sits just high enough that it easy to grab but low enough that it is discrete. Another plus is that the belt clip does not stick out so far at the bottom (where the clip is angled so it slips easily over your pant pocket). I have scratched the heck out of my car doors as I get in and out and walk past with years of knives that have had the pocket clip stick out too far. The knife is light but very sturdy feeling and quite sharp out if the box. Nice and tight and a great lockup but it will take me a while to get used to a lock back knife again. I haven't carried anything but liner locks for so many years. I usually cary a knife I like for about 6 months EDC before I retire it and get a new one. I am sure I will hang onto this one for that long.

Good knife
The good.It has a true clip point blade . Takes a good edge . Some gymping on the blade to rest your thumb while choking up .The pocket clip is ok .Easy to deploy the blade with the duel thumb stud .The finish on the metal is good .Handle slabs are decent.Feels good in my hand .The bad .Made in china .It is a little on the heavy side .I do not like the point down pocket carry .It had a loose screw . I took out 1 screw at a time and put some finger nail polish on them . No more loose screws.Overall well worth the price .A good usable tool .

Fantastic knife at under $20
My problem with the knife community are the 'knife snobs'. There is no reason to give this anything but 5-stars given price, construction, great snap locking open, in-hand feel, and slicing. I own a Buck 110 and I like the blade profile better on this knife. It's lighter, has a pocket clip and I think it's an attractive knife. Came really sharp, cleanly shears paper. Nice big blade that you can actually EDC, or at this price makes a fantastic 'beater knife'.Negatives?: If I were to be picky, the blade does bite a finger when closing - avoidable after a little usage. Gray finish seems like it wears easy, I actually like the natural look of it's wear.As a sub-$20 knife, it's a winner even at a higher price!

Good product
Classic look and feel of the buck 110 with a modern twist made by a quality American company. High quality at a great price.

Beautiful knife
Beautiful knife for everyday use. Nice length for some more heavy-duty tasks, but the drop point is perfect for finesse jobs like gutting fish. Blade locks firmly into place with almost no play. The knife is not as flat as other models you may get, but I enjoy the extra heft as I have large chubby hands that appreciate the extra handle width.Haven't used it enough to judge the hardiness of the blade, but it's stainless steel, so not expecting a lot of retention. But, it's easy to sharpen. That's exactly what I wanted in a knife like this.Overall, recommend to anyone whose needs sound like they are met with this description.
