What is the difference between the professional blend and the pl blend?

I’m using the professional blend along with a product called Nualgi Ponds to control string algae, and the two products together have done a great job.  Very little algae and crystal clear water.

can this be used if an ultraviolet light filter is also running?

Thanks for your question. The UV will kill all free floating bacteria cultures in the water, however beneficial bacteria prefers to adhere to surfaces rather than float through the water. Question 3

Reviews mention sulfur smell with use of Microbe-Lift.  How long does it take for the smell to dissipate? Would you use in pond adjacent to kitchen?

Thanks for your question. It only smells for a few min to an hour - until it mixes well into the water. The smell dissipates fairly quickly and I would not see any reason you could not use it in your pond near the kitchen.

Can I use this in my aquarium? It says in description but then only pond....
