This product was a great deal! We got an excellent price on it, and it arrived early. It was well packaged and everything was secure with boxes and boxes of cameras, hard-drive and wiring. Install was super easy, since we were replacing our old system. Took my husband approx 1hr and 30 mins to get all the old cameras down (4) and new cameras (5/8) installed. We were able to use the old wires to pull new wiring through. Setup was also super easy, as we have not run this through our wifi. When we go through that process, I will try to update the review with information regarding setup and app installation.Picture quality is great day and night, but the night vision is fairly limited depending on light. The scope of details for the cameras are bright to dim where there is little to no light, covering an estimated 10'W by 30'D area. In well lit areas the distance is much greater with clear picture for up to 150' or more. That is the one negative and would be the one area needing improvement, or there may be another system that offers further coverage at night.The 2T hard-drive is big but not bulky. The system we replaced was only 1T and was about 4 in more narrow from front to back.We chose this system because of the ability to hook 8 cameras up. It also has the capabilities to mix and match so we can use wireless cameras if wanted as well. Since we were going from wired to wired, with the exception of one, we chose to keep the wired cameras instead of buying all new wireless. When we get the 3 wireless I will update the review with that info if able.Setting up the system was as easy as following the prompts. Password protected or not, it is up to you. We chose to go with a wireless mouse of our own rather than use the corded mouse that is included, and it works fine like that.Easy to configure cameras and set them up. The one area that we don't like is viewing options. You can set them up with all 8 on the screen but not just 5, so we have 3 black screens where those are not connected. 1 is displayed larger than the other 7, that are all smaller around 2 sides of the 1 larger. You can also display them 1 at a time that flips from 1 to the next, and if motion occurs it will jump back to the screen and hold there for designated time. There are other options as well if you decide to do the wifi and internet option- you can set alerts to shoot an email and even contact the monitoring app for remote viewing of every alert if necessary. The motion sensitivity can be set to certain areas in a grid or for entire screen and you can have it sensitive enough to alert when a leaf falls 20 yards away during the day or less sensitivity so that it doesn't trigger further than 5ft away. The whole program is really easy to maneuver and the possibilities are endless with this system.Hopefully this review helps. I definitely recommend this product if you want good quality, excellent picture and an easy install, all for a very competitive price.

This is an excellent security camera system, and I like it for the following reasons: set up was straight-forward, it came with 8 cameras and wires. The NVR came with a 1T hard drive, so I didn't have to make this an extra purchase. The pictures and videos are extremely clear -- much better than our previous ADT system. However, best of all, and the thing that would make me buy this system again is the very excellent customer service I received, especially from Hugo Cruz, when I called with a question about how to set my phone to get push notifications. There are lots of security camera systems available, but this one is by far the best because of the personal customer service available.Update: We have had this system for 7 months now, and I am still extremely satisfied with the system. There is no monthly fee, and the NVR (like a DVR for security camera recordings) is in my home. The system sends notifications to my cell phone, where I can view the camera clips. However, the most important thing is the customer service. Today I called and was assisted by Alejandro, who didn't have the answer at the moment, but he actually called me back within an hour with the assistance I needed. You get a security system to protect yourself and your loved ones. We used to have ADT. But they became unreliable, the videos were fuzzy and useless, the service was expensive and they would not honor the contract to maintain the cameras. After some investigation we settled on Annke. Annke is a God-send because it is excellent equipment and outstanding customer support, especially for a senior citizen. Annke has provided outstanding customer service every time I call, and I have not had this level of customer service with any other company. They are always patient and knowledgeable and available to help me with questions.

I purchased this unit in 2021 for our new house and it has worked flawlessly up until a few weeks ago when we got an early spring thunderstorm and the lightning knocked out one of the (2) small plug in power supplies for the cameras (so basically only 4 of the 8 cameras were working). I did some poking around on the unit with all the connections and noticed that any camera plugged into that one PS would not work but when I moved it to the opposing PS everything worked fine. No cameras or the main unit has any issues. The item that failed was CS-1202000. I was happy to see that a replacement PS was only $9.50. I also saw my original Amazon order from 2021 and we paid $189 for this unit at the time on sale I am sure. For the money this thing has been great. We are able to go back and scan anything from the previous 14 days (or more) with no issues. I also should mention that all our cameras are under the eaves of our house and workshop. So no direct sun and no direct rain at any time. I'm not sure how long these would last in the south with our storms and scorching sun. Good Luck. This is a good unit.
