This is not what I expected. I was hoping to have a similar style to Italian cuisine where it is cleaned and brined while hoping to be better for the environment by supporting a sustainable conscious company. But instead, it is basically whole bodied anchovies with the head removed and cut in sectionsI enjoy Wild Planet's tuna but this canned anchovy is just not tasty.I will go back to traditionally canned anchovies from different companies.

very bland
The anchovies smelled good, but they tasted very bland, they tasted exactly like anchovies would taste if you boil them, lol. WHich they actually were, so I am not sure what was I expecting here. They were ok mixed with other stuff to actually add flavor.

May not be what you expect
From my point of view these are not the white anchovies. They actually seem to be small sardines. True white anchovies are more like herring in texture and taste these taste just like dry pasty sardines.

Tasted like sardines
Maybe I don't understand what 'white' anchovies are because they did not even come close to anchovy taste. The price was not what I would have assumed was good for anchovies. If you like sardines - OK. I would never buy them again.
