N-Tense 2 is a natural herbal blend of Mullaca, Anamu, Vassourinha, Simarouba, Picao Preto, Suma, Cat's Claw, and Espinheira Santa. It is a Raintree original formula. Mullaca is the common name of Physalis angulata, an herbaceous annual plant with oval, dark green leaves and edible yellow-orange fruits. Anamu, or Petiveria alliacea, is a flowering plant common in South and Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida, and the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. This perennial shrub emits a strong, garlic-like odor. Vassourinha is the common name of Scoparia dulcis, a flowering plant that is typically seen in tropical areas around the world. Simarouba belongs to a family of shrubs and small trees native to the tropics. It has relatively small flowers and between 1-12 pairs of alternate leaflets. Picao Preto is the common name for Bidens pilosa, a leaf vegetable with tender shoots and young leaves. Suma (Pfaffia paniculata) is a ground vine common in South and Central America. It has an intricate and deep root system. Espinheira Santa (Maytenus ilicifolia) a shrub with holly-like fruits and is common in tropical regions of South America and the West Indies. Cat's Claw is the common name of a plant scientifically known as Uncaria tomentosa. Its name comes from the thorns of its vine which are shaped like hooks and resembles the claws of a cat.
