I installed this on my wife's 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.6L and right out the gate it made a huge peformance improvement. Probably no better company out there that makes solid cold air intakes, I would give this 5 stars but here are a few things that I would not if your considering this.Pros:- Installing on the WK2 is so easy and you only need a few select tools, removing the stock intake and chamber takes a max of 15 minutes- I was not expecting the tubing to be that heavy they used really good material so it feels solid once installedVery noticeable noise difference in startup and while driving right away, it has a much deeper throttleCons:- Instructions/Video instructions found on YouTube where tough to follow there were a few positions of pieces that were difficult to tell in both the video and the instructions- I have heard from people that K&N tends to re-use returned/damaged items in the pictures you can see the actual filter is damaged on the end like it was dropped and the plate for the heat-shield has noticeable scratches on it like it was used; it was not a big deal for me but for people spending close $300 will expect brand new items

I got this kit for $200, which I still consider a bit much for some aluminum tubing and a filter, to be quite honest, but I've been very happy with it so far. Installation was straight-forward and simple (the K&N website actually has a step-by-step video of the installation - HIGHLY recommended!) and the performance gains were immediately noticeable. Throttle response has greatly improved and I've been tracking average gas mileage closely and both highway and city driving have gone up roughly 2 MPG, so this thing should actually pay for itself in 2-3 years (kinda like buying new windows for your house).The one concern I had regarding this kit and what kept me from buying it years ago is people comments on how much louder it is. This kit actually went on my wife's 2011 Grand Cherokee and she liked that it ran so quiet. Well, I managed to convince her to let me put this on even though reviewers claimed it would be noticeably louder and it certainly is. To be more precise, there is absolutely NO CHANGE in noise from idle to 2000 RPMs, but once you hit 2K and up, there is an increasingly loud low rumble. To my surprise, my wife actually likes it, especially the fact that it is still very quiet at cruising speed. The increased noise (and airflow) comes from removing the enormous baffles that are built into the stock intake, which kinda act like a muffler on your exhaust.So, in short, if you want a 5% gain in HP and torque and 10% gain in both city and highway MPG with some added noise that increases with the weight of your foot, then I would highly recommend this kit.

OH MAN!! It looks like plastic in the pictures, but is in fact aluminum TIG welded tubing! Easy Install, followed by AMAZING sound driving, this intake is not for the faint of heart! At full throttle it is QUITE LOUD!! And sounds amazing!! Mileage is yet to be seen, but may be hard to verify as it sounds so good when driven hard!! Well thought out mounts and great instructions.Performance is clearly up, not just a placebo effect of the greatly increased sound, I can feel my foot not as far on the throttle for the same speeds I usually drive, so there is more power at cruise. BONUS- it sounds NO different at cruising speeds in town or on the highway, below 75mph. after 75 it has a very slight growl, that grows as speed increases, but is easily drowned out by the radio at normal volumes, until WELL above legal speed limits! Sounds andf feels amazing.
