Q: What's the print quality like on this paper versus 20lb & 84 bright paper? Also, how many sheets per ream (one image says 500, another 625)?

This answer is 100% subjective. I am a retired lawyer and staked my reputation on the content and appearance of the documents I produced for 30+ years. I get twitchy if I don't use the brightest, thickest, most elegant paper I can find for about everything. However, I find that at home, this 18 lb. paper is a better choice than the standard 20-26 lb. stuff for digital clothing patterns or temporary copies of recipes or email. A pattern on 18 lb. paper is easier to cut, piece, fold, and store. The package says it contains 500 sheets of brightness-92 paper. I can see the difference between this and 96- or 98-brightness paper, but this paper is "white" and the print quality is crisp and sharp. I had no mechanical problems with printing.

Q: Does this have Color Lok Technology?

this is a very light weight paper, when printing in color it comes out good but its really for every day printing not powerpoint presentations.. I print on this because its light weight and moves through my printer very fast and easily, never gets stuck and its eco-friendly!

Q: Has anybody found 16lb paper on Amazon?

Nope. Look under "typewriter paper" and there you will find 16# 8 1/2 x 11 paper, but it is very expensive! (Not worth it) The 18# paper proffered by HP Printer Papers) is not worth it either...go with 20#. A rather good alternative is the 30# newsprint 8 1/2 x 11 sold by Pacon (#3401). (Available at Dick Blick's by the ream) It is very light weight, but still not as inexpensive as the 20# paper.

Q: 18lb printer paper where to I buy?

This 18lb printer paper by HP is not available at Amazon. If you don't want to try another store that carries paper by just searching for "18lb printer paper" on their website, then you could get a 16lb paper "Skilcraft" brand here on Amazon, or consider "onion skin" paper which is 9lb if you want really thin paper.
