So far..pretty good!
This generator has the juice to do what I need at a price that felt good. I bought it for emergency use in case the Texas grid ever goes down again, and to power our small RV. With 5000 plus watts it will more than handle all the needs of the RV, including the a/c, and while its a little heavy, its portable enough to take on the road.I like its handles better than many I looked at.It will only handle some essential functions in our home, but we have additional resources(an acre of firewood and some solar equipment) to help there.I had a little trouble getting it started at first. Turns out mine has an automatic choke (customer service was great!) and therefore no manual throttle, but I still needed to hold it open start it the first time. I ran it and used it for a few chores to test it out. Hasn't been a problem since. Didn't need it in the last freeze, but it was prepped and ready to go.

Don't waste your money
For starters the battery was no good. It never took a charge. The pull rope cut itself off from vibration in a week. The remote switch is worthless because you still have to go to the generator and manually turn the switch off/on. haven't had it a year yet and now it refuses to run at all. Cant find any where to even start returning it for warranty repair or replacement. Roughly 200 hrs. Total junk hardware and even worse support.

Poor thing went through FedEx hell
Other than barely surviving shipment, generator seemingly went together easily. The one quart of oil provided was leaking inside the box upon delivery. obviously provided by the shipper. Ran on propane only because I don't want to put any gas in it until it's really necessary, don't want to leave gas in it for a couple years and have it go turpentine on me. Choke function rather confusing, label on the unit indicates (like all small engines), that the choke lever is within reach of the label. Nope not there, it's down on the carburetor. Engine appears to need full choke to start again no matter how warm it is, this is my soul experience with propane only I do not know how it acts with gasoline.

Great generator, at first disappointing
Ok so day 1, remote & push start doesn’t work, it would start to bog out when I’d hit the stop button on the remote and then resume. Using it on a RV so I was pretty disappointed. Bought a new battery after 4 days of using it, went to swap out the battery and what do I find? Battery connectors are zip tied and disconnected, connected them and now both remote/push start work great! No mention of this in the manual btw. Running the campers 10k btu AC at full blast I got 14hrs on a 20gal propane tank and 17hrs on the second so to say the least I was very happy with that. I tried it on gas (added a gallon) & it ran all day on that & it was a little stronger in gas. All and all if it keeps running this well it is a steal @ this price with remote start & dual fuel.

Amazing RV Generator!
This is the perfect RV generator, it has every feature I was looking for and at the right price. I was a bit nervous ordering a generator from Amazon, but it arrived in fine shape and a day early! I use it on Propane, connected to the BBQ grill outlet on the rear of my 5th Wheel. I also love the remote start keyfob! Noise level is acceptable for a generator at 5000w. Only weights 110lbs, so I can lift it on/off the rear rack. As a bonus, the generator frame fits exactly inside the factory 19" rear rack frame. I just pull the wheels of and tie it down. Great Generator for the price!!! Oh and it comes with a 3yr warranty - and I bought Amazon's extended warranty for an additional year for $85.

Can’t tell you how it is because it’s never worked
Don’t waste your money. After a great deal of research, I thought, I chose this generator. It arrived DOA. I had to go through hoops in order to get assistance. They acted like it wasn’t their fault? They sent a different battery after I refused to be ok with it. It’s still not working. We will have to take it to a small engine repair and pay out of pocket to fix a new generator that’s never worked. This is a lot of money to pay for something to collect dust.

Precisely what we wanted.
We bought this for two reasons first was duel fuel and second to run our house and camper. We haven’t used it on the camper yet but my husband left all the lights on and plugged in our house while I was cooking dinner and it didn’t even idol up and turned the heater on. The remote start is a great perk. While we are out camping I don’t have to leave the camper to start it. The only down side I would say it one person can’t lift it. But that’s to be expected when it’s that big.

Remote appears useless
It arrived before expected. However, it was missing one of the round rods that hold battery down. And the battery was totally dead, would even take a charge. So, I had to buy another ($75.00). And I don't see what good the remote (fob) does. Have to move the choke manually to start it so you can't use the fob them. & after it is shut down you have to manually turn off switch. So why did they bother with a fob at all?
