It's great. Buy it.
Great lens. I'm using it on a Sony A7 mark II. I bought the native E mount after trying to decide whether to get the EF mount one and adapt it, or just go native. I considered the EF because I thought it would probably have better resale value with all the Canon cameras out there. Since this is the first time I've bought such an off-brand lens (ie: not Tamron, Sigma, Tokina, etc.) I wanted to make sure any issues were the lens itself and not because it was adapted. Especially since adapters can have a problem hitting infinity focus with super wide lenses. It's nice and sharp and a great lens to shoot with. I normally use Canon FD lenses adapted to the A7, so manual focus is not a big deal to me. Neither is manual aperture control. If you just want a mount and forget lens though, with auto everything, this is for sure not the lens for you. If you want a quality lens and aren't afraid to go manual, buy this now.The only issue is the weird distortion it has which shows up in some shots, depending on the subject. You can use the Samyang lens profile for a Canon camera in Adobe Camera Raw to get rid of it though. Kind of a pain, but not needed for most shots. All in all a really good lens. It's much sharper on the edges and corners than my FD17mm f4.0 that I paid a little more for.So what are you waiting for. It's super wide, nice and sharp, and cheap. Go ahead. Buy it.

Ultra wide angle lens
Very well constructed and solid lens. The price is very good for what you get and I do recommend this 14 mm lensI use a Sony A7 II camera. The E-mount adapter is built in. Very convenient. Can not attach any filters to the front of lens.No auto focus.A little hard to focus. I use the distance markings on the barrel of the lens to focus. This seems to be the most accurate way to focus this lens. Works best in well lite conditions. The only draw back for me is, the resolution on large enlargements is questionable (11 x 14 or larger) or aggressive cropping. The resolution suffers.A top quality lens that is comparable to this would cost $1800 CND and this lens costed me $329 + tx CND.This lens is a fun and creative lens at a very reasonable price.

Great affordable super wide angle (full frame compatible)!
Pros: Very nice image quality. Built as a tank, great materials, very affordable. It amazing the super wide range when taking pictures. I just bought it, so Im beginning to experiment with it. The other night I took some pictures of the space and its amazing (ill share the image with this post).Cons: Heavy, the focusing ring has a very long range and its hard to tell when to stop (although the sony a7 helps you with focusing assistance when the lens is not Sony, andit shows you with color what part of the image is focused), You cannot put any filter on the top of the lens because it has a huge "bulby" cristal, buy that is not a big problem for me. The lens take great pictures but when talking about architecture, it work great because it lets you see a lot, but it generates a distortion , son the linear get a little curve, but dont worry you can correct this in lightroom and it looks amazing.
