I needed something to hold my TPSM monitor while driving my motorhome. I tried lots of different options, and this one works the best! Nice and sturdy!

Many years ago, I had a similar phone holder. Once it broke (stopped allowing me to charge) I looked for another one but couldn't find it. This was pre-covid. I was getting frustrated with not having a place to put my phone in my car. I decided to look again and found this one. So far, I love it. It is much more solid than the first one I had and it's very flexible to put in the right spot.

Maybe I was too rough, or maybe the plastic was not made to hold up. After using this for a month or so and moving the phone around in the holder, the ball that mounts to the back snapped off. Did some engineering and was able to re-use it without the ball. Maybe that should be a smooth metal piece instead of the thick plastic.

Update April 2022: One star. Held phone great again, but my replacement also started leaking glue, getting on my fingers and phone. I used it less than 30 times total, 1 hour duration per session, since September 2021. I put it away after every use and kept it in the shade. I wanted to avoid the glue leaking again. In April 2022, I noticed that the glue had started leaking on the replacement. I contacted the company regarding this; they would not issue refund. (Pictures of leaking glue in review).Original September 2021: Two stars. Held my phone securely - iPhone 8 Plus with cover and screen protector so it is not light. But glue leaked out the back release button and every time I pressed the button (which is every time I use it) to release my phone from the holder, I got extremely sticky glue on my fingers. It started leaking down the holder as well. I park in a covered garage and under shade for most the day. It’s not convenient to mount/dismount the holder every car ride. I exchanged for another one - hopefully the glue doesn’t leak since that problem is not mentioned much in the reviews.

It’s a bit wiggly, which means a bit frustrating, but it’s alright.

Custom phone holders for my vehicle very expensive and vent and cup holder mounts didn't work for me. Had a stick holder on but failed in the heat of the summer. Also with a case on, holders that hold phone magnetically didn't work either. This has solved my problems. Just wish I had found it several years ago!!! Obscures access to the fan and ventilation controls a bit but worth it to have the phone secure and easily visible and can reach behind the gooseneck to change the fan if need be. I tend not to fiddle with those controls once I have started anyway.

I bought it because I had a long road trip coming up and I wanted to be able to see my phone for the GPS and also be able to charge my phone. The charger last halfway before the tip broke off in the charging port. Needed pliers to pull it out. There's a rubber ring that I took off so that I could re connect the tip better. So far it hasn't come apart again. Overall, it's only ok

I really like this cell phone mount. It is very sturdy and stays put.
