PalladioAqua Force - Waterproof Defining Mascara-Black

This is my all time favorite waterproof mascara. It stays put without being difficult to remove.

This is not only definitely not waterproof, but if you shed a single tear you will be met with a horrible burning sensation when it gets in your eyes making you cry more in an ever growing feedback loop of pain until you can fully wash it all off. Just nope all around for sensitive eyes.

I didn’t see anything different about this mascara from cheaper brands.

When this mascara is good, it's my favorite, even though it can be messy to apply.It goes on long and thick, and it doesn't melt or flake. It doesn't come off until I shower, at which point, instead of melting into raccoon eyes, the individual coating on each lash comes off, like a tiny, black tube. Sounds weird, but it's much tidier than other mascara, and it really makes my little, blond eyelashes show up.Here's the weird thing, though.Twice I've ordered this product and received what I described above--a sort of magical powder coating for my eyelashes. And twice I've gotten a product with the same branding that behaves completely differently. It doesn't give me much length or thickness, and when it gets wet, it dissolves into smudges all around my eyes. It's really not waterproof at all. I don't know if they've changed their formula, or filled some tubes with their non-waterproof version, or what.Because I love the first kind, I'm going to give them another try, but if I get the puny, melty formula again, I'll have to move on.
