Gives me a focused alertness
Looking for an increase in focus with energy? This stuff works super well. However, there is that but, be careful taking this especially if you have anxiety. I found that taking one a day is just enough for me. And taking that by lunch time or mid-day at the latest. Taking it too late may cause insomnia is you’re an insomniac like me. When I tried taking two of these, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, my anxiety started to rise with no hope for relaxing for sometime even after taking tension tamer tea. The bottle warns not to take more than a maximum of 4 capsules in a 24 hour period. Follow that warning to the tee. If you’re trying this for the first time, I would start with 1 capsule a day. If you feel fine, then you can try taking two capsules. If your anxiety is raised, then drop it back it down to one. I found 1 capsule is more than enough for me personally. I also cut my caffeine intake as it’s not really needed necessarily as this stuff gives a focused alertness. You’ll have to gauge this product delicately against your system. Don’t rush into this. I found this to be an excellent product when I keep it down to one tablet a day while reducing my caffeine intake, since that can aggravate anxiety. You may also want to consider a Theanine tablet as that’s got a calm focused clarity and I found that stacks well with Theacrine.

This product works well for me at 200mg
I am a person that has suffered from fatigue for years. Several years ago I was put on a CPAP for sleep apnea and although I do feel better with the CPAP, I am still fatigued. For that reason I was taking caffeine and L-Theanine combination pills. I tried a few different brands and although a couple worked well for me, the more you consume caffeine, the more you have to consume to feel the same so typically you need to go a week or so without it here and there. I also crash with large amounts of caffeine and sometimes get the shakes if I have too much. After watching a video from Thomas DeLauer mentioning Theacrine (Teacrine) I decided to try it. My new daily routine is a cup of coffee as soon as I get up (So a cup before 7am) and then between 11-Noon I will take 200mg of Teacrine with 200mg of L-Theanine to get me over the afternoon hump. This seems to work very well for me. I also suffer from high blood pressure and tachycardia and I have not noticed any notable changes when taking Teacrine as opposed to caffeine. I also have not had any issues with crashing.I have been using this product for almost a month now and for the money, I think this is good option. According to WebMD in low doses this will relax you and I didn't really notice any stimulating effect at 100mg but I also suffer from fatigue.

Seems to work
I’ve been taking this product every day, and I believe it’s made me more focused and gives me a sense of wanting to be more productive. Every little bit helps at 68! It has NOT given me headaches, the shakes, insomnia, or anything negative like some other “brain enhancing” supplements I’ve tried. I’ll keep it up for a while longer, then take a break to see if I can tell a difference.

Good product and service
I'm a fan of Theacrine for multiple reasons. I cycle the use of caffeine once my body becomes desensitized to it and I'm required to increase the dosage for the same effect. Everyone is different but it takes me 10 - 14 days to adapt not having caffeine and it's not a pleasant period. I take Theacrine in that period now, then I stop using Theacrine or any stimulants for at least two weeks. Theacrine doesn't have nearly the dependency your body has with caffeine so it's much easier to come off it. Once my body is off all stimulants, when I get back to using caffeine, even just 50mg feels like I drank an Expresso.I also use Theacrine in conjunction with caffeine as there is a synergetic effect between the two. There's been a study done that shows Theacrine allow caffeine to stay longer in your body, which allows you to take less of it for the same effect. I notice less jitter and better focus when combining caffeine with Theacrine. When using Theacrine with caffeine, I substitute some of the caffeine dosages with Theacrine. Usually 100mg of Theacrine with 100mg of caffeine pre-workout or period I need energy and focus. This works much better than 200mg of caffeine along, which makes me jitter.I have always had a positive experience purchasing products from Double Wood and I give their customer service high marks for being proactive and responsive.

How do you avoid getting wet?
After reading through the reviews and on Wikipedia, I was sold and decided to give this a try. I too wanted improved focus and stamina in my life. Shipping was quick btw. Always a great move. Anyway so I took this pill with an 8oz glass of water. Within the hour I ate some grapes, pineapple chucks and a banana. About an hour later I’m driving to work feeling like my brain is waving at my eyeballs. I blinked a few times to get them to stop playing. I get to work and start to feel different. My head starts feeling pressure in the temples. My mind focuses. And It focuses on nothing. Then I started to feel relaxed in a blah kind of way. As I’m working through this blob of a feeling that’s overtaken my body, it starts to get hot. Now, I don’t know what menopause feels like yet, but from what I’ve read this made me contemplate it real quick. Am I too old? Was this the pills plan? Do I want sex? Is the pill giving me a false sense of stamina? Why do I keep sweating? Man this escalated quickly. After molding into this wetland form for about an hour my body started to dry up. Like wtf. I’m not running. My job requires both mental and physical, but much less physical. At this point I’m starting to look like a Lindsey Lohan mug shot. I drink more water to retain more fluid. It didn’t work. I’m still Lindsey Lohan. At this point I’m done. This was one pill. One time. Never again. Now that’s what she said.
