Perfect replacement for my rv door.
These are well made and exactly as described. Great price and fit on my 2017 Jayco Redhawk 29xk. No issues and easy install. I only needed one, but having a standby is alway a better way to go.

Excellent for any job
These hydraulic cylinders work great and very easy to install using the instructions provided. I use them on the back shutter doors on my outdoor kitchen and they work perfectly.

Quality item: Shafts are black other brands have a chrome finish.
Quality item: Shafts are black while most other brands have a chrome finished struts. Very powerful and was far too strong to use with a two piece 2003 MC competition ski boat cover that was designed for (2) 35 lbs. rated struts.

Don't be afraid to get the 100 lbs lifts.
Thought after reading the ad that the 100 lbs lifts would be too hard for closing.Big mistake as now I have to push the cargo lid up but the 80 lbs lifts hold it. Closing is no issue as they let it fall slowly until it latches.

Replaced the struts on a truck tonneau cover - works great
The tonneau cover on my truck had some gas struts that were approaching 20 years old, and they no longer gave the same lift, almost to the point the cover would close by itself instead of being held open. Not great.I got the measurements of the old struts and ordered this pair. Replacement is super easy, just remember to prop open whatever you're working on so it doesn't come slamming down. Replace one at a time, and you're good to go.The new ones are definitely stronger and I'm using more force to pull it closed, but the originals were probably that way and I've just forgotten. I'm sure these will "loosen" up in time as well and give me a good balance of open/close level of effort.
