Amazon free shipping saved me a lot!
Most of the Ag dealers handle these but free shipping from Amazon. They're cast iron and have a very durable thick paint coating. They fit the normal front or rear weight brackets. They came in individual 42 lb. boxes. I ordered eight. The FEDEX guy was rolling his eyes.

It's green
Yea it's green... now black. A bit pricey for a tractor weight. You sincerely pay for that name brand.Not a fan, but needed some weights for my compact tractor. Tired of waiting for the local dude to call and say it had some in. Welded together a 1/2" steel bracket big enough for four of these weights. Bolted to the tractor and working as intended. They're weights for goodness sake... they just sit there and look pretty.Hopefully, when installing the box blade this spring I can avoid the tractor pull wheelie show. :)

Excellent product
I put two of these on my John Deere 1023e. Also added wheel weights to the rear. Now my tractor has better traction and is more stable on my hilly property as I bush hog.

They Are John Deere Weights
I need more weight for snow-blowing traction on the JD x534 lawn tractor that I bought used this year; it only came with two, 42 lb. "suitcase" weights on the rear. Now it has four, with no room for more, for a total of 168 lbs. of added weight. Hope it's enough of an improvement, I don't want to pay the ridiculous cost for the special tire-chains and wheel spacers that this tractor apparently needs so as not to interfere with the rear-wheel steering rods (it has 4-wheel steering for a tight turning radius). Anyway, with free shipping, these weights cost significantly less than they are being sold for at the local JD dealership.
