Maître Prunille Agen Pitted Prunes 1kg

They are so good I have to ration myself. On my third bag, If you like prunes (the usual dried plum) you will love these soft, sweet, unctuous prunes. No good got to go & get one to eat as I type!

Health wise.

Turn off heatadd prunes, then lay 3 English tea bags on topLeave over night.Add 300ml of Baron de Sigognac armagnac (or other)fill a 2l Kilner jar with prune and heavenly juice- ensure prunes are submergedStore in cool cupboard, wait at least a month, then enjoy with ice cream or aloneyum

Ok, they are not cheap, but these prunes have a great flavour and are really juicy straight from the packet. I've never bought prunes before so my family and I tried them for the first time over Christmas and they were really excellent. We've infused some with brandy syrup for use in cocktails and I'm also planning to make canapés with them.

I only buy Agen Prunes. Very succulent, soft and no stones. Although expensive they are worth it!

These prunes are delicious and thoroughly recommended. BUT they are not "Large". I have bought two packets at different times and each time the packet clearly marks the prunes as SMALL. Unimportant for most purposes, but if your recipe calls for stuffed prunes forget it!

I like the strong flavour but texture a bit too mushy
