If you want SCART to HDMI, this is your converter
As a video game and console collector, having the best quality image up on my HD TV is extremely important -- especially when it comes to hooking up older systems. This converter does just that. It also has a lot of different resolution options and even has a PAL or NTSC button. It works great, has great quality conversion and it's my go-to when I need one. Highly recommend!

Works great with my Commodore Amiga A600
Best solution for Commodore Amiga retro gaming! Sharp clear picture and no lag. Pictures are from my A600 (PAL) on a 55” Sony LCD TV.

It actually works!
The media could not be loaded. I've bought the cheap version of this previously at around £15. That actually works too, but it's full of interference. So I chanced it on buying this £50 version, and it's so much better. On my 43" TV, you can see some fuzz, but that's to be expected when upscaling VHS to a 2k+ HDTV. Then again, that could just be the video tape. Overall I'm very happy with it. If you're looking for a solution to convert SCART to HDMI, then this is probably a good one to go with.

Not suitable for gaming AT ALL.
What I liked about this was the picture quality. Very crisp, clear upscaling and no color bleed. It also had no perceptible lag. And that's the end of the good things. Here are the bad:First problem: There is no 4:3 mode on the device. I could have lived with that, except that it stretches the center and the edges at different rates. So side-scrolling games show obvious acceleration at the edges of the screen, and the whole picture is just sea-sick-making. It only looks passable with fighting games.Second problem: I had this hooked up to my Sega Saturn (with Satiator), and I was having all sorts of issues with my controller cutting out. I switched back to AV cables and the controller issues disappeared.Third problem: Then the unit just straight up stopped working. Got sound but no video in any of the modes. I had used it maybe four or five hours tops.Fourth problem: The sound from the headphone jack on the unit was great... but the sound over HDMI was awful. Any time there was silence from a game, there'd be a loud interference noise over HDMI. As soon as audio started to play that interference noise went away... only to return again when the game was silent.I suspect that this unit was sending some kind of feedback or voltage back to the AV port, and causing problems with my game system. Fortunately it fried itself before it could fry my vintage console. So because of all those reasons I returned it.

Essentially Garbage
It worked with the picture jumping right every few seconds at first. It fell about a foot and now does nothing.I regret buying this and it disappointed me in every way.

Works as advertised
I needed a SCART to HDMI NTSC converter for my BBC micro computer from the UK. This is the only converter that actually worked perfectly. Very happy camper.

Its ok, you get what you pay for
At first i thought the unit was DOA come to find out it only works if you have a HDMI source pluged in , you cant use just the scart side so you have to use it as a toggle box, picture quailty is ok but i could see noise come and go when hooked up to my neogeo 3-4 early model with good RGB thats not presant when i use scart to Component Y Pb/CB PR/CR Converter, i did not notice any input lag so it is playable but i will probly invest in a better converter at some point made for retro gaming, the 720/1080p button cycles betweens 4 differant resolutions when pressed 1024x768 1366x1024 1280x720 and 1920x1080
