These are just a pair of antennas. You need the AF-5X radios as well. That uses an included PoE injector and can run at 24v high or 48v standard.

Q: What is the best distance that is can work?

Many factors to consider. Noise Floor, Fresnel clearance, power output on whatever band your trying to work this on.. If you have good LOS etc these can drive a signal pretty far. I am pushing 8 miles on DFS and getting -65 on the low end. On UNI-3 you can drive much farther and myself realize around -65 -63 at 20 miles. I like using UNI3/UNI1 for PtMP so I don't use those bands for backhauls but every application is different.

You must use matching airFiber 5x radios. At 1.4 you won’t have any signal issues. In fact you may need to turn the gain down so you aren’t overpowering the radios.
