I installed the software as the manual directed me to do. I installed the board and it worked great! If you have trouble with Firefox working after installing the board just download Firefox and install it again. That is what I did and now I can surf on Firefox and Internet Explorer. My browser of choice is Firefox. All of the parts was in the box. If you follow the instructions in the book you should have no problem getting this card to work for you. Install the drivers before installing the card.

It seems to have lasted a week and now is non functional on the PC I bought it for, have not got the time or the energy to test it on another and returning it will cost more in postage than it's worth... I would not buy one of these if I was you.

My builtin network card quit working, so I was looking for a cheap gigabit replacement. This card is great, first of all it was a very easy to install, low profile, was plug and play on Win7 box. After the install works as expected. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of cheap low profile gigabit ethernet card. I have been using it every day for the past 6 months for at least 3-6 hours per day with no issues.

My onboard network port had died and I needed a cheap replacement that would do the job.This was most certainly it. I needed the smaller metal piece to have it fit in my slot and it worked without a problem.Software disc is a mini-cd...shouldn't be an issue for machines that still accept these kinds of network cards.The performance is fair/good. For DSL it works perfect. I would imagine if you are looking for something to game with that this may not be your choice. You would just have to see what kind of connection demand your software/cpu would need.

Good enough for general use. Don't expect line speed processing capability. Uses Realtek chipset.

I bought this for my printer and has been functioning like it should. i have windows 8 and it appeared to work without installation but i still installed the drivers just in case.The device was in a anti static bag witch i was happy about and came with an extra bracket for the micro PCs i believe just like in the photo. Will update if this item gives me problems.

Got in a bind, my lan card on my Biostar 775 motherboard suddenly quit being found by windows, and after re-adding the drivers over and over, I gave up and bought this card.Needless to say, it works great.Gr8 connection speed, and now im back online and fast. I would highly recommend this card.

Not really sure if this card will work. Why? Well, I bought it for a low profile machine. It's supposed to come with a low profile adaptor (pictured in the Amazon page). It did indeed come with one, however it's for a different card. Can't physically install this in the machine. Oh well.Quick Update: Decided to try using tin snips to see if I could just trim off the bracket so it would fit, figuring I could get it inside and running, then figure out a way to secure it properly. Unfortunately it didn't work. Now I have a damaged bracket, not sure if Amazon will even take it back.Do yourself a favor - if you need a network card, look elsewhere. I was trying to make this a second NIC for a pc I was turning into a router / firewall. Oh well.
