This is my first experience with a rotary cutter of this size. That being said, it does it’s job, is very heavy duty and is well made. It even came with replacement pieces. It cuts everything my print shops needs, from giclee prints to cardboard.

The roller wheel broke, actually crumbled apart. However I called the company and they replaced the entire unit and not just the roller part. I'm giving a four-star for this unit and a five-star for the other unit that they sent for replacement. If they hadn't replaced it, I would have given them one star.

That's the only good thing I have to say about this product. After unboxing, it was clear that this item was used and returned. I would put money on this cutter being the same one that was returned in another review. Thank goodness I work with people that can fix just about anything. They took it apart, and added washers to add height to the steel bar on which the rotary wheel moves back and forth on. It makes almost clean cuts, now that the rotary wheel can move and the blade was changed from the "really used" one to a blade that looks "less used" -which is good enough for the project. If it weren't for the genius of my co-workers, this would have been on it's way back. You shouldn't have to dismantle a product and add parts to make it work.

This is everything I needed for my business. It’s durable, cuts perfect and saves me so much time from only have scissors.

it works for cutting gilcee prints on thick paper

Works well. I wanted to use it to cut photo backing board. It’s not tough material but the cutter utterly failed. Works great on paper. Very sharp. Toughest part is being able to tell precisely where the cut edge will be. For some projects, that is critical.

I will be able to cut much bigger paper. will need to find a place to put it.

The product came in a box with things rattling around inside, not a good sign. The first picture shows that the plastic bar which was supposed to be attached had fallen apart because the screws were stripped. The second photo shows that there is a gap between the plastic cutting bar and the bottom screw head which holds it tight. 3rd: someone tried to touch-up paint the end but failed in matching the powder paint with the touch-up paint. 4th: these are the instructions (worthless, with nothing about how to set the cutting wheel on its track. Also, a fragment of manufacturing fell out of the box. Upon inspection, not from my cutter. An allen wrench and rubber gaskets with no explanation, but I figured its part of changing the cutting wheel. Why are the rubber bumpers cut though? 5. The cutting wheel holder with the paint bubbling.All of these item relate to quality control in manufacturing. Seems like a "we don't care attitude", fix it and get it out the door. I need this product right now, cant find a reasonable substitute so I am not sending it back. I drilled out the base and added a slightly larger machine screw and washers. Seemed like a reasonable fix considering all the other flaws. This is not complicated manufacturing. maybe they could give a damn and add some quality control.
