Like a walk in the woods after rain
This is my new favorite candle, I really hope it's never discontinued!I've bought many candles over the years that claim to smell like the woods and until this specimen they've all fallen short. This candle fills my house (at least the front rooms its in) with a subtle woodsy scent.I've only burned it for a few hours but so far it's not burning any faster than I'd expect. The price is higher than I usually pay for candles but I like it so much I'm sure I'll buy it again

Fragrance very mild. If I burn a scented candle, I'd like it to lightly scent the room. Nothing of a forest here.Has a long burn time compared to other brands.

Favorite default candle
This is my favorite any season candle for most of the year. I initially got it as a birthday present for a friend, but the scent profile was intriguing to me so I got one as well. It is seriously so refreshing and it smells like fresh greenery, such as in a forest, but also like it just rained over a campfire or something. It is soothing and relaxing and delicious.

Great scent, good throw
So nice to find a jar candle that smells wonderful and is a bit more economical than Yankee. It has a pure scent - no "waxy" carry over - and a really nice throw in my large, open house. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Can't wait to receive the other scents I ordered from Village Candle!

Commercial bathroom pine air freshener
What the title says. It's a very artificial, cloyingly sweet, pine/Christmas tree smell. I instantly got flashbacks to having to clean public restrooms. It might even be a urinal-cake pine smell? And, in what would normally be a GOOD thing in a better smelling candle, the scent sticks around long after it is burnt.It's disappointing because I ADORE Village Candle. My ultimate, all-time favorite scent is "Inner Peace," and I actually ration the burn time and keep a backup. Now I'm wishing I would have just bought another backup!I've been on the hunt to find a candle that smells like camping - wood smoke, sort of piney, maybe with a hint of citronella bug spray, lol. I've got one on the way to try from another brand, but it's a brand I've never had before, and it's more expensive. I wish Village had been able to get me close to my goal with this scent, but alas.
