Incredible camera for birding
Let me start by saying that this camera is not for everyone. It is not a general purpose camera, and as a general purpose camera, it will earn only about 3 stars. The main qualities of the camera are incredible 2000mm (35mm equivalent) zoom, an awesome image stabilization system that allows me to shoot handheld at 2000mm and get decent photos at shutter speeds as high as 1/100 of a second, a very good viewfinder and the ability to get raw output. The weight is around 1kg, which is comfortable enough to lug around whole day. The zoom makes it a great camera for birding and astrophotography, the two main uses of this camera. With its massive zoom, you can get bird images from a distance, which no camera other than its sibling (Nikon P1000) can get you. Because of excellent image stabilization, you do not have to worry when you don't have enough time to set up a tripod - you can still get a decent shot usually. On the negative side, the sensor size is small, so it is noise prone. 16MP resolution is not great either. But then, these compromises allowed Nikon to get us this focal length in such a lightweight camera. Autofocus is not great, and can hunt in low light. You can always switch to manual focus, which is easy to use on this camera. At the telephoto end, the lens is quite slow, the maximum aperture drops to 6.5. This makes it difficult, if not impossible, to get moving targets at low light at higher focal lengths. Battery life is not great either, and usually you will have to carry an extra battery if you're on a daylong shooting program. If you're looking for a general purpose camera and have not much need for such large zoom, you can get other cameras with much better image quality at comparable prices. However, if you need the zoom - birders, for instance - this camera is for you.

A pretty basic camera for average consumer
Bought it at MRP due to Chip shortages, but its all about prioritiesLet's be honest we only need it for the ZOOM & only the ZOOM, apart from that everything is below average. If you don't need the zoom then Please Please save your money & go look somewhere else.As a professional Photographer myself who owns a Sony A7III, A6400 & Nikon D750 i only bought this because i need the long focal range & also because i needed to replace my old Lumix FZ80 who already gave me multiple errors after 4 Years. The camera lacks a ton of features especially while recording you can't monitor the focal length the ISO or the audio levels even in full manual mode, so basically you're shooting blindly here & hope the camera will able to compensate for everything else.Pros: 4K video quality is good for a modern Point & Shoot CameraGood build quality compared to my FZ80Lens QualityCons: PriceAuto-Focus (Contrast detect only)Limited Video Featuresin conclusion my only issue is the price tag & the lack of monitoring features
