Why not call it a 1/5 cotton blanket?
I cannot figure out why, if you are making wool blankets, you don't make them out of wool. The 20 percent cotton content in this blanket is the cotton grid to which the wool is glued. It is not woven in the usual sense. You will be able to see the cotton grid from about the distance you normally read a newspaper. I just bought two Pendleton blankets. They were so cheap that I could poke my index finger right through them. This resulted in a ripped hole right through the cotton mesh and the wool fibers that were glued to it. Do you really WANT a blanket that you can poke your finger through or that you can tear apart like a piece of cheesecloth? Probably not. It won't be long before this company's reputation for being bad exceeds its reputation for being good. By that time, however, it will already have made its killing and it won't matter anymore.
