BUYER BEWARE!!! Works for about 6-8 months, leaking BAD.
I bought this in November 2023, and first they lost my package during shipping, then after waiting 3 WEEKS for a replacement, I finally installed. In December. Worked mostly fine, for about 6-8 months. Started seeping fluid. Now it’s a heavy leak. Also has more slop than the 24 year old one I replaced (due to leaking) and must not have been properly adjusted. BUYER BEWARE that it’s not going to last at all. Now I get to replace once again, and have to get a new alignment again after. Not very pleased with this product especially considering how much these cost to replace.

Had trouble steering to the left st one point didnt know what it could be, this part came was easy to install and everything has worked perfect since.

Be prepared to send the old gear box back to Detroit Axle to activate your warranty.

2006 chevy
It arrived in good time, fit was good, seal on one plug was bad and had leaked a little fluid in package but was sealed. Only one issue, had to adjust the worm gear some, had too much play in it.

I spend about $600 bucks with the installation and now I have to spend more money again !!! 😡

Installations not too bad it's getting the pitman arm off I never could install the gear box with an old pitman arm
