I'd say it is good quality.
threads are a little too loose. I'm having to use a lot of thread tape to get a tight seal. Other than that, I'd say it is good quality.

Beware of this Pipe Fitting.
One end of this fitting was resistant to take a bite on the threads. When it did finally connect to an existing shower stub I thought I was home free so I connected the rest of the shower head. When I turned the water on to test it I discovered it was leaking. Not because it wasn't secure but because it is poorly made. Not worth sending back and certainly not worth the money I paid.

Looks good, works poorly.
Threading is poor. Have two 1/2” NPT nipples screwed into it and they bottom out before threads are tight. It leaks like crazy.
