Q: Can this be used in a bread machine?

I just used it in my Hamilton Beach bread maker: I selected the "French bread" cycle (it allows for longer rising/proofing) and I followed the recipe on the package (it's Italian, but luckily so am I): it calls for 500g bread flour, 35g yeast (looks like a lot, but it's already mixed up with flour unlike regular yeast), 2 1/12 tsp salt, 2 tsp sugar, and 300ml room temp water (I added a bit more during the first kneading): put everything in the machine (water first, flour and yeast last), 4 hours later I had some seriously perfect and fragrant bread.

Q: Can I get a Pizza recipe for this type of yeast

I use it all the time for pizza @1%. Best result fermenting overnight, but get good results starting early am too. I use 00 flour, 70% water, 2.3% salt. Bake in 550 degree oven on a steel plate for five minutes. Makes a pretty crispy crust .

Q: Any instructions on how to use it for baking? How much do I need?

We recommend about 30grams (1/3 of the sachet) per pound of flour. You soak the yeast in warm water and then use it as a starter for your dough.
