Declining quality, lack of response from vendor
They are very comfortable, but they don’t last as long as they used to. The hook part of the Velcro seems to come apart very prematurely. I only wash them in the shower and air dry them by hanging them across the faucet overnight.I sent this in a message to the seller:“Has THE BAND been using inferior materials over the last few years? I’ve been using their wide watch bands for probably 20 years and the last few years it seems that the Velcro doesn’t last as long as it used to.”I’ve received No answer after 22 days.

great watchband
I bought these as a replacement for my original silicone bands. I had replaced the originals twice prior at three times the price. These are pretty well made and seem to hold up, as I'm pretty rough on bands. It takes a little while to get them broken in just right, but were well worth it.

These are the absolute best!
I've been using these bands since 1999. They're my favorite watch band by far, and the only ones I'll use if I have a choice. I'm glad that they're on Amazon now, because it's hard to find retailers that carry them anymore.I have had to replace them occasionally. The velcro wears out in about three or four years of 24 hour daily use in an industrial environment, so there's that. Most other watch bands live about 3 months in the same environment.

I use these as wrist support
My ligament in my left wrist was broken years ago and the tendons are not held tightly in place. I don't like wearing a brace and a watch on my left wrist. I found that this band will work as a brace for me unless I am doing very heavy work. It keeps me going. *** I am not a doctor or medical professional and I am not trying to advise medical advice. Possibly the worst designed watchband Ever.
Unbelievable, you have to unwrap the entire thing to get it on and off your wrist.Possibly the worst designed watchband I have ever purchased, and was happy to be able to return it

Could use a little re-design
It's a decent enough watch band, but it has issues. It can be a little difficult to put on, because my G shock wants to slide down the band instead of staying where I want it. The other issue is the wide part of the band is cut webbing, and the cut is melted, creating a sharp, hard edge thats not comfortable. I folded mine over and sewed it down. I also sewed my watch to help it stay where I want it. Big improvments for a decent product that could be much better.

Buy it
I'm allergic to metal and so I HAVE to wear bands like this. I prefer the wider ones made by chums but either way they are great band that are capable of firing any artist size and the Velcro is very strong. Just make sure you know what width you're buying before you place your order. I thought when I bought it I was buying the extra wide like my previous one. But the thinner one is great too!

This is the EXTRA WIDE version of "The Band"
I was shopping for the traditional velcro watch band "The Band" that is 22mm/5/8" wide. Maybe I was in a hurry, or didn't look at the picture close enough, (I ordered from my phone) but, the description is not as clear as it should be. I read it as "20mm wide" what I got was a 2 pack of the EXTRA WIDE, yes the mounting band is 20mm wide, but the webbing is extra wide ~1.5"/40mm. Which is OK, just not what I thought I ordered. It was a good deal for the two pack, so I figured it was not worth sending back and I'd give the wider band a shot and see how I like the wider band,
