I take a lot of notes, compulsively. These EnerGel 0.5 mm pens became a favorite of mine when I started working after college. I like the thinness of the needle tip, how smooth they write, and how dark the text is even though I write lightly. I covet these pens, so when someone needs to borrow it, I keep a close eye on them to assure I get it back. Everyone who has borrowed one, even for a short time, has loved them.I had one box of them that would crack where the pen twists together and then had the unfortunate issue of popping apart every so often when I was writing or clicked the pen. I'm not sure what caused this, if it was just one batch or not, but it became really annoying and preventing me from using refills. Despite this, I continue to use the pens and recommend them because everything else is amazing.

Let me start by saying these pens are very very smooth. I mean it feels like i'm writing with oil on the paper ridiculous analogy I know but no other way to describe it. Better than the G2 hands down the ink smears like crazy and preferred over the signo 207 micros as they get a bit scratchy in 0.5mm size.PROS:1. SUPER smooth writing2. Dries very very quickly (doodled randomly everyday just to try to smear the ink but just laugh at how fast it dried)3. Great design very stylish4. Grip and size is very comfortable5. Refillable ($1 buck for refills in blue or black from jetpens.com)6. Needle tip work flawlessly7. Does not bleed through the paper i write on (printer paper mainly)CONS:1. Not very cheap (but worth the price)2. The clip although metal it's attacthed to plastic that doesn't feel very strong3. I find myself just writing and doodling for fun just to use the pen it's a habit i'm developing because of these pens ahaha

I liked the weight of the line, not as heavy as some other brands, but good and solid (not all .5's are the same), and these didn't leave little blobs or bleed through like others I tried.But the ink ran out faster that in other pens/brands I've tried - about half as many pages in my notebook.

These pens are great. Rapid drying don't smear after writing great pens. I like the 0.5 tip the best, it's the perfect size in my opinion

Sharp and smooth writing. Does not bleed ink. Neat and clean output. Always prefer this type of (sharp) pen.

In ultimo, non per importanza, si dimostrano penne inesauribili, possedendo inoltre vantaggio di ricarica eliminando sprechi.

I’m a lefty and I’ve just suffered along through smudges and smears in my writing. I’ve had to write the thank you cards after my wedding this year though, and that was the last straw- I needed pens that weren’t going to wreck my work. I found these and bought them based on the reviews- I am very glad that I did! They rock- no smudges, I got the .5 tip so still fine but the marking is classy and easy to read. My sister is also a lefty and has now taken “Three or Four” of the pens to work (more, I suspect). Overall very happy!

Love this pen. Ultra smooth and glides very well. It’s just that the ink gets over pretty soon. So you will need to buy additional refills
