Easy install with the magnets and the plug n play harness. Great back up light and hopefully the light bar will get the attention of tailgating drivers avoiding mishaps

They cleaner pad dryed up us rubbing alcohol 71% minimum cleans very well let dry 10 to 30 minutes.
This unit is not Omni directional all wiring goes to driver side and again rubbing alcohol will clean the matting surface very well let dry 10 to 30minutes and your done70 % minimum if the factory installed hinges on your tail gate you will have to use the48 INCH OPT 48 also make sure you CLEAN THE BACK under side of you truck where the light bar will go , us e rubbing alcohol 70 percent to clean the matting surface let dry 10/30 minutes and try to do this with out temp of 60 degrees or better.

Incorrect Part for Tacoma
While I like the construction of this light bar, its not the correct Opt7 part number for Tacoma--it's a single 48" light bar but the correct part uses 2 shorter bars that allow you to avoid the spare tire crank port on the Tacoma bed tailgate. This one at least partially obscures that opening. Further, it falls short of width leaving noticeable gaps at outside ends. TIP: note that center of LED lights is marked by 4 small circles and this is not at center of length, so use the 4 small dots aligned to the center of spare tire crank port to center the lights. Also, there is a smaller portruding bend on the tailgate below the access hole that this bar can be mounted to avoid covering the port, but it's not as clean as its very visible and right at top of bumper pad. View the many installation videos for Tacoma and you will see it uses two shorter bars for a cleaner fit and better positioning--it would be worth it to use the correct part than this one.

TOP NOTCH LED LIGHTBAR
I installed this on my 2023 Ford Maverick truck. (48”)It won’t fit under the tail gate like you would normally mount due to the bumper cover having a angled top, so I mounted it directly below on the bumper cover .Had to slightly bend it so it follows the curve of the bumper. This was super easy as the aluminum frame bends easy. I tried to direct wire it and it would not function right, I ended up ordering the module that goes inline and that fixed all the issues. DO NOT try and use the tow harness as it causes a lot of things to shut down. Direct wire works great WITH the module. Not sure why the computer doesn’t work with the strip as I’m also using the feniex quad cannon LED strobes with brake light function and they are great.I spliced into the tail light for the running light function and ran some 18-4 wire to the cab where the wire harness comes thru and tapped the rest there and mounted the opt7 module there as well so it stays dry.looks really nice. Reverse lights are very bright too. I got the red flash as all the rear signals are red on the Maverick . I also upgraded all the lamps to LASFIT bulbs as these are the brightest lamps I’ve found.
