Good bottle
Bottles worked okay. One leaked a little trigger with little fingers can be an issue

A full review from a parent and kid review
Edit: we have now had the bottles for some time. We are still struggling with two issues. The leaking if there is water still in the straw, if the bottle is turned sideways water comes out. Also sometimes the kids can't pull water. I've tried the plug, the straw, there seems to be no rhyme or reason. It's very frustrating. The spout cover broke early on when my son accidentally dropped his, which was a huge bummer. Idk what to do at this point.I wanted to write a review that I would enjoy reading. I hope that this is helpful.I bought 3 of these FJBottle Kids Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottles.1 13oz Mini Unicorn for my 3 year old girl1 14oz Bubblegum Pink for my 8yr old girl1 14oz Seafoam Green for my 6yr old boyMy kids have always had Contigo brand water bottles. This is our first non Contigo brand bottle experience. We also only drink water in our water bottles. The FJ Bottles all came packaged nicely in boxes, each containing a straw brush. The interior of each bottle was a super shiny steel. The straw has a nice size and thickness, it almost appears like glass but isn't. The top inner ring came out easy for cleaning as did the straw. The straw brush does not pass all the way through the mouth piece to bottom, which kind of bums me out a bit. I will keep my eye on this.Opening the bottle: There is a lock that slides in and out of place. Once the bottle is unlocked, you push a button and the spout pops up. The child then moves the spout covering to the side and drinks. My 3 year old was able to unlock, open, drink, close and relock with great ease. So that passed the test. She has also dropped it and no leakage. I have shaken it to see if we got the spout spit out effect and so far spout spitting.I asked my kids what they thought. I feel like their review is most importantWhat do you like?3yr old girl: the unicorns6yr old boy: the color and that it doesn't spill8yr old girl: that it is easy to drink from, that it keeps the water cold and that it locks. What do you not like?3yr old girl: "i like it"6yr old boy: the lock8yr old girl: that it was hard at first to get it to come out. (Parent note: inside has that little plastic bubble piece that aids the air flow/suction flow. I had to jiggle that, when I did, she did not struggle. Hers was the only one that had that problem.)I hope that this has helped. We have only had the cups a week. I do hope that they last us as long as our Contigo's. So far, the kids are happy so Mamma's happy. (OH it has a wide mouth to slip ice cubes in! love that)

Sturdy enough for an active preschooler!
This is a beast of a water bottle. I'm actually looking for a larger version for myself because it really does keep drinks cold. Living in a state where it's winter lasts about 4 weeks, having cold water is a must and blessing!I load it with ice in the morning and send my child to school and she loves it!What I love about it as a mom is that it really does make her want to drink more water. The spout is way less likely to be chewed through/off. (If they could at all.)This bottle has been super durable. I plan on buying another.Only con is that you need to open the spout. Just pop it up when you open it. Or the suction fro the last drink will trap liquid in the straw and that small amount could spill. But I have learned that is common practice in bottles designed like this. It's a habit now that I pop the spout before I twist off the cap.Locking mechanism takes a whole few minutes to get the hang of it.I'm super happy and adding another one to my cart as soon as I submit this.*Keep in mind I have used more brands than I can count. Spout cups, straw cups, tons of "spill proof cups", as I have cats who will absolutely knock all the cups down. This one has been the champion of all attempts to find a reliable cup.*

Updated review
Cute bottle! My toddler loves it because it works like his dad’s. The only downside is it’s tricky for him to open and close on his own.I need to correct my previous review about the water streaming out every time I opened the bottle. I think I’ve found the root of the issue and it is user error (my mom had put milk or something in the cup, then water after and as it warmed up, it created a pressure that pushed the water out). Tried it again after it was thoroughly cleaned and it seems to work fine. Apologies to the seller and to anyone who relied on my previous review.

Bien
