So Clean and Professional Looking for excellent price!
These are very easy to use and the directions are spot on. I am fairly handy, but I believe anyone can do this. I actually ran a Power Extension as well as HDMI cables into the wall, and I have a TV that looks like it is floating in place. I bought a second one, and cleaned up the install of a second TV. This product is highly recommended. The Hole Saw Blades are not the best quality, but just be patient and talk your time. Let the SAW do the work, and you will find it works well. These can cost a good chunk of change, and you really do not use them for much else, so this is an awesome part to include in this kit.Once the holes are made, the cups go right into the wall. The Rubber Gasket comes installed into the plastic wall piece. These can be a little tricky to remove. Get a small flat screw driver and work out one section at a time, while pulling out on the rubber piece... this should help you with removal. The Cable Fishing Line: This tool worked well, but the hook did not do the job. Make sure you tape the cable or cables to one side, and then route it through the wall.Good Luck.

Great price for a great kit!
I used this to pass wires through an interior wall between a bathroom and a hallway. This allowed me to run phone, Ethernet, and an extension cord for power into the bathroom. Very simple and easy to do. I used a long thin drill bit to make a pilot hole through the sheetrock on both sides of the wall so the holes for the grommets would line up. I then used the included hole saw with a cordless drill to make the holes for the grommet sleeves (the green plastic parts). The holes lined up fairly well using this method. The hardest part of the whole 15 minute project was pushing the power cord through the slit in the grommets (the white rubbery parts). These grommets are hard, rubbery type material and the slits are a bit inflexible.Tips:For drilling the holes - use a drill and a medium speed but advance through the sheetrock slowly so you get a good, clean hole all the way through. Do not push it, let the hole saw do the work. For the getting the cords through the grommets - the trick is to push part of the slit in and pull the other part out to open them up for the cords.Pros:All inclusive kit at a very fair price.Simple and quick to complete the entire project.Cons:The grommets are a bit inflexible but will give enough to get a 2-prong power cord through. Not sure about a large 3-prong plug though. The grommets are extremely difficult to remove from the wall sleeves once they are snapped in. Rearranging or adding cords will be tough.

Great kit, worked as intended
Needed to run a power line for a client to their wall mounted TV to a UPS, and I'm advanced handyman skill level and been in IT 20 years. The wall plates are fantastic and clean, the cutter was very easy to use, and the cable tool actually is shapeable so it made life easy for a 3 foot vertical and 1.5 foot horizontal through a cabinet run. Worked so well I bought one for home to clean up my "it doesn't bother me" cables that now look amazing.

Easy to install - cord opening too rigid
Expect to spend no more than 25 minutes on installing this and all your cables - you can use the handle to hand-drill the holes, or pop the circle saw in your power tool of choice. Once the grommet is installed and tightened, you can start snaking the cables through. This will either go very easy (in an uninsulated wall) or take some time using the included cable snake. I snaked three HDMI cables, two component cables and some USB cords through, and the whole setup looks great. The opening slit in the plastic cover is a bit stiff, and pushing a thick plug through is a challenge once you have it filled up.Other than that, this is a neat and tidy solution for people who hate seeing cables dangle from under their TV.

Perfect
Before I review, let me just say this to anyone looking to install/build/repair something themselves. Know the materials you're working with, know your tools as far as what you have/don't have and lastly and most importantly KNOW YOUR CAPABILITIES. If you've never worked with your hands before, you can't reasonably expect this sort of thing to work with no problem. As always, things like this could benefit from some builder experience. Not needed, but certainly helpful; but I digress...I'm a neat freak, and very critical of my space and how it presents. So with that in mind, with a newly mounted 70 inch flat screen, the last thing I wanted was a dozen messy cords dangling from it, so I came to this product for a solution. In a word (and my humble opinion) this product is-- perfect. From a function POV, it does exactly what it's designed to do and does it well. All the tools you need to get this thing to work at it's most basic function is included with this kit. BUT to make things easier, you will need additional tools (of course depending on what kind of structure and space you're working around). Another thing you will need is a bit of ingenuity with fishing the cords and a little bit of preplanning. The only complaint I'd have if I absolutely had to give one is, the "lips" of the cord cover are VERY rigid. It's gonna take some effort getting them through. So with that-- Make ABSOLUTELY sure you know how many cords you wanna work in, because it's a total pain to get it all set up and realize you wanna fish one more through. Overall- Great product.
