These combs are made for thinning thick hair, but work great on your pets coats as well. I purchased them for my cat and my American Akita. I have been gifting them to my friends who also have pets. Great for getting mats out of your animals fur without scissor and little risk of cutting sensitive skin. My elderly Persian, despite daily brushing, often gets sizeable tangles and mats. This comb is a gentle way to take the mats off without pulling and looks very natural without leaving behind a thin spot.

I swear by this for toddler haircuts
My son has SO MUCH hair and desperately needed it cut, but I didn’t want to bring a baby to a salon and the scissor method wasn’t working. He’d try to grab them, or turn suddenly and I was worried he’d get hurt. And it usually left choppy haircuts.This has been such an unlock for me! We started using it when he was around 10 months and he’s 1.5 now. I run it through his hair like a comb, adding more pressure where I want it trimmed, and it looks great every time. If he grabs it, there’s no safety concern. And it’s way less distracting than scissors.
