GREAT product and packaged correctly
Item was not the alternator that i need to no fault of their own. 2009 MINI coopers were manufactured with two different alternators in which the plugs are different. One is a single and the other is a three prong plug. My only suggestion would be that they specify which MINI this would fit as the 2009 R56 that I owned ONLY uses a Valeo alternator. GREAT product and packaged correctly...

THIS ALTERNATOR DID NOT FIT MY 2005 MINI COOPER!
Prior to ordering, please verify your existing alternator connection to prevent mishaps. I returned this item for a refund.

I bought this hoping it was correct for my 2003 Mini Cooper S.It went on with no issues whatsoever. I would recommend.

Great Value!
Replacing the alternator in a Mini is not a job for the faint of heart. The real miniAlternator was eight times the cost of this one so I tackled it. iTunes to the rescue!
