Softspikes Pulsar Golf Cleats

These were a perfect fit. The Fast Twist 3.0 are definitely compatible with my Fast Twist Footjoys that are at least 15 years old. I haven't played in a long time and as casual golfer, I've never replaced cleats before. Installing was super easy! I cleaned out any dirt or broken cleat pieces from the threads, as I'm sure any little speck could affect proper fit. I inserted each cleat by hand and turned once clockwise. Then using a pronged spike wrench, I pressed down slightly and turned once more clockwise and they snapped into place. Rock solid. Don't be fooled thinking they are fully installed after only one turn because they seem tight or they won't turn any more, they will fall out once you start walking.... use a spike wrench and don't force by hand! **Note that despite the description saying "Kit", it does NOT come with the spike wrench.** These cleats are more rubberized and have some flex to them. Should be great on the course, but not sure if cart paths and concrete will chew them up a little faster than traditional cleats.

These do the trick grip-wise, last a while, and fit into my pretty long in the tooth golf shoes very nicely. like any plastic cleat, they wear down eventually, so you want to keep an eye on them to make sure the little holes for the custom wrench don't wear down so far that you can't get a grip on the cleat with the wrench. If that happens you can get out a drill, a thin drill bit, and extend the hole, but you run the risk of drilling through the sole of your shoe, so ... keep an eye on it.

These are the same soft spikes that came with my golf shoes. There are different thread types, so make sure you get the right ones for your shoes. If you have the required tool (usually not included with replacement spikes) they are very easy to replace.These spikes work well and are a good value.

Good product

I have used these for many years on my Nike golf shoes and I would say that they have the best traction of any cleat. The reason is that they are soft and springy, much more than Black Widow spikes, so it is possible that they do not last as long as the Black Widows. However, the Softspikes Pulsars definitely have the best traction and have excellent grip even on wet grass. Some reviewers have complained that these don't last long... they say they play a couple times a week and they expect the cleats to last 6 months. Really? Get a clue, no cleat lasts 6 months if you play a couple times a week and walk... you should change your spikes every 3-6 months even if you play once a week!I would highly recommend these for their performance alone.

These were a bit hard to find except on Amazon! Softspikes Pulsar in the yellow and blue were OEM on my FootJoy's and wore very well. I wanted the same color just to keep my Dry Joys dressed up but could not find them elsewhere. Softspikes Pulsar provide solid grip with a comfortable walk. They do tend to clog with grass clippings but just about everything with the exception of Champion Stinger. However, I find them to be a bit slick on some surfaces like steps and they are harder, less comfortable than the Softspikes to walk on. Fast shipping and fair pricing made the purchase pleasant.
