So I bought this as it is one of the only 38.1mm seatclamps and they seem to be extremely rare.To confirm to anyone unsure, this clamp is suitable for a SEAT TUBE width of around 37.9 - 38.1mm and a SEAT POST size of 34.9mm.For starters, I bought this clamp to use on my GT Sensor 2016 with a 38mm seat tube. I confirm it fits.The clamp is very well built. There is a plastic wear pad to prevent wear from aluminium to aluminium contact. I had this issue on my stock clamp as it began to wear through it. The leverage is very good and does not need to be tight to clamp the post very well. When fully open, seat post slides very freely and allows very quick adjustment. Flicking the lever to the closed position clamps it nice and snug with relatively little force.It might seem to be expensive for a quick release, but it's the only one of this 38.1mm kind that I could find in the whole of the UK. If you are looking for a clamp compatible with a 38mm seat tube, this is a great (and possibly only) option.
