I recommend this tool for anyone needing to seal plastic bags. I use it seal a large potato chip or trail mix bags. It does take couple of practices to get used to it and if you hold in one spot too long, it will actually melt the plastic. Got this to use for my unused color street strips and it works amazing! Super easy and quick. Have also used on bags of chips and the kids love that it’s small enough for them to do it too (with supervision, of course).

I am very disappointed in the small sealer. I actually bought two of them 1 for me and 1 for my mother-in-law. Looked like it would be handy for sealing up our Color Street nails and for using in our RV for chips etc. I feel like the sealer just doesn't seal anything very well. I wasn't expecting it to be awesome but I did expect it to work. I have to go over something like 10 times for it to even semi seal. Save your money and don't purchase.

Don't be like me and try to use this with the batteries wrapped in plastic. I'm used to batteries being on the side, so to speak, and not already inserted into the device. And at first glance, you can't even tell they're wrapped because the plastic is clear and very tight around the batteries. Could be my middle-age eyes, though! Once I corrected this oops, it worked like a charm. You don't have to wait for it to get hot, just use it. I've learned to loosen my grip up a bit and not slowly run it across the bag. If you get heavy handed or run it too slow, it will tear or melt the bag. A light grip and a fairly quick run over the top and it's sealed. Love it! I'll be getting another one for my daughter.

This is super cool! It works on most bags of chips but there's a couple where it didn't give the greatest seal. I did start to trim some of the excess material of the bag to make it easier. You can't double it up so it is much easier to just trim the bag.
