These work amazing in the garden

I didn't know much about tomatoes in past seasons and was always surprised by the ones I planted that grew 6 feet out across the ground. I finally found out they were indeterminant plants and needed to be treated differently. I found some videos on YouTube where they used these to string them up. They let you unwind however much string you need and can unwind if the tomatoes get too long and you need to "drop" them by moving the hook to a spot farther away. Look for videos if this doesn't make sense, it's easier to just watch it. My tomato plants haven't gotten that large yet, but I appreciate that their growth is directed where I want it rather than out into the yard, causing issues for mowing and the like.

It is so nice to have such a simple device do exactly what I need. Built a raised garden for my wife's tomato patch (her second year). Last year was a wonderful success with the indeterminant tomato plants; however, we didn't know how tall they would grow and how long they would produce; therefore, we were constantly adding new supports. Dameing Plant Climbing Hooks are our attempt to get in front of the problem this year. Why only 4 stars? String and metal of the hooks are working fine, still want to see durability.

These handy hooks make hanging tomato plants and many other vegetables and other plants easy. They are easy to use and durable, and eliminate the need to tie knots if using twine or garden tape.

WHEN YOU HAVE TO LET OUT MORE STRING, YOU HAVE TO LET OUT THAT CERTAIN AMOUNT AND I ALWAYS FOUND THAT IT WAS EITHER TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE. YOU JUST DON'T HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER IT.
